Dignity Operation field commander escapes murder attempt
2017-08-30
[Libya Observer] Chief of so-called Anti-Terrorism Bureau in Shahhat town in eastern Libya, Hanibal al-Hasi, has survived an liquidation attempt in Kirissah town, 20 km west of Derna. Dignity Operation sources said al-Hasi was among the forces besieging Derna when gunnies showered his car with bullets and fled away. Al-Hasi escaped unhurt. The gunnies later randomly fired at a checkpoint for the Anti-Terrorism Bureau in Kirissah in what seems to be a power conflict between Dignity Operation gangs in the town. The sources added that the gunnies were identified, describing them as an outlaw group.
