[DailyMail] - At a hearing on Russian interference in the presidential election today Lindsey Graham said the FBI responded to his letter about Trump spying
It informed his office that its director would answer questions about wiretapping charges - but not in public
Republican senator and Democrat Sheldon Whitehouse asked FBI about a criminal investigation into Trump on March 2; followed up in a March 8 letter
Graham and Whitehouse gave FBI head James Comey until today to provide proof of a warrant for the alleged surveillance or say one doesn't exist
This morning Graham threatened a subpoena if he didn't get answers
Said Tuesday the FBI was 'about to screw up big time' by jerking him around
Doesn't sound like a "Nope!" to me. |
