The account is the latest from the National Parks Service (NPS) social media presence to post on topics off-message from the White House. ​The tweets discussed information about how levels of carbon dioxide are at their highest in history, citing the Organic Act of 1916, a federal statute that calls for the preservation of lands for the "enjoyment of future generations."
