[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Egypt’s Court of Cassation has overturned a death sentence against deposed Islamist President Mohammed Mursi of the Moslem Brüderbund and ordered a retrial.Mursi was sentenced to death in June 2015 in connection with a mass jail break during the country’s 2011 uprising.
The first president to be democratically elected after the 2011 revolt, Mursi was tossed in mid-2013 following mass protests against his rule.
