News just in from the southern port city of Marko indicate that Huge blasts followed by gunfire heard at AMISOM base outside the town on Monday night.Suspected Al shabaab fighters on foot are reported to have launched a massive bomb and gun attack on the AMISOM military base at Bufow area, around 6Km away from Marko town.
Residents say Al shabaab fighters have managed to enter the AMISOM base after blasting their way with car bomb explosion. Casualties of the attack are still sketchy.
