Why go to North Korea on Holiday?

Hat tip Instapundit. Long, long piece on North Korea that starts with that stupid American kid and explores what in the world a person would be thinking to want to go to North Korea 'on holiday'. Key graf:
But North Korea really is different. It’s not a country, it’s a prison camp and a torture chamber. Taking a tourist trip there means spectating on the murder and abuse of your fellow human beings, and putting hard currency into the hands of the people responsible for those crimes.
