Netanyahu's spokesman Ofir Gendelman pointed out that the contraption appeared to be a mockup constructed of wood placed atop another vehicle whose wheels could be spotted poking out of the bottom.
Others suggested the gun turret was actually a sewage pipe.
I think they mean the main gun, not the turret. The end of the "gun" looks like a piece of four-inch (101mm) plastic pipe, the kind used in toilet drains, of approximately the same diameter of a real tank's main gun. Running it at night probably made it look fearsomely realistic.
