| Five Killed in Faryab Roadside Mine Blast |

| [Tolo News] At least five people were killed in a roadside mine blast in northern Faryab province early Monday, local official said. In addition, 25 other people were maimed. The incident took place in Andkhoy district of the province after a vehicle struck a roadside mine which killed three civilians and two military soldiers, officials said. Officials said that a commander from Faryab, who was fighting holy warriors, is among the injured. The injured have been taken to a nearby hospital. |
