As Saudi MERS total grows, study hints at increased transmissibility

The size of the S Korean outbreak - 186 confirmed cases -indicated increased transmissibility and this is laboratory confirmation.

It's not clear to me if this strain is circulating in Saudi, but with the Haj starting soon, we are about to find out.

If a well organized society like S Korea had such difficulty containing it, I'd expect much larger outbreaks in most muslim countries.
