| Six militants killed Caucasus counterterror operation |

 [RFE/RL] Russian officials said security forces have killed six militants in the republic of Kabardino-Balkaria. The National Antiterrorist Committee said the militants were surrounded in an apartment building on July 23 during a counterterrorism operation in Nalchik, the regional capital. It said security forces also found a large illegal laboratory used to make explosives. |
