A case was also registered against him with the CTD cop shoppe. According to a security source, Mufti Tanveer Alam Farooqui was wanted by the CTD for delivering hate speeches and illegal fund raising. He said Farooqui was also wanted by the Rawalpindi police in a terrorism-related case registered with the Sadiqabad police.The source said the accused had gone into hiding to avoid arrest as he was on the top of the list of 'hardcore bad boys' in Punjab.
