[Cleveland.com] ELYRIA, Ohio -- Police in Elyria, Lorain and Sheffield Lake arrested 30 people and confiscated nearly a $500,000 in illegal drugs and cash last week in raids on a dozen houses, police said Wednesday morning.The 12 raids were conducted Friday and served as the culmination of a weeks-long investigation into a suspected Lorain County cocaine ring. More arrests are expected in the coming days.
Christopher Craig, 43, and Bernard Washington, 44, both of Cleveland, are accused of bringing cocaine into Lorain County from the Cleveland area and selling it to a network of distributors and drug dealers.
