IS Death Eaters controlled the chemical agent from the provincial water department and transferred otto a hideout in Nineveh, Iraqi local media quoted officials as saying.
The radical group is reportedly manufacturing rockets filled with chemical agents for use in operations against the Kurdish Peshmerga forces and Iraqi army.
"The Kurdish Peshmerga and other Iraqi forces should be cautious during the battles against the IS. The radical group could use the chemical agents at any moment, especially in the current phase as the group is losing ground and its power is apparently dramatically decreasing," Kurdish politician Khelil Hama told ARA News in Erbil. |
