| Government Shutdown in Rantburg: Make your vote count |

| You get a vote, shut down the government of Rantburg, or pony up a few bucks and keep Rantburg in your favorites. Since 09/11/2001 Mayor Fred has run this town, getting information about terror out fast from around the world.... the comments creating Rantburg University. And we do have puppies and ponies, Darwin Awards and the best Snark of the Day. To see the first post in Rantburg, scroll to the top right hand corner of the screen, click on Archives.... scroll down through the years to the bottom and click on 2001-09-11. This is the mission of Rantburg. There is a budget: hardware, software, site storage and first class programming and support. No personnel overhead. Mayor Fred has been here since that day in September..... spending countless hours under the hood to keep Rantburg clickable. He’s extremely good at that. People from around the world click here.... people in high places.... they know of Rantburg. Your articles are posted, your comments are read.... by whom, you may never know. Admit it, with some types of "Breaking News" this is the first place you come.... Now, it’s decision time. Sit up straight. Settle back into your chair, locking your fingers, bring your arms up and around your head so those fingers are locked around the back of your head.... settle back in that chair... elbows high, chin up.......
