| Taliban Insurgents, Border Police Killed in Paktia Clash |

| [Tolo News] At least 38 Taliban Death Eaters and two border coppers were killed in festivities in southern Paktia province on Friday night, local officials said. The clash took place in Dand-e Patan district of the province after Afghan and Pak Taliban Death Eaters attacked a border police outpost, said Lal Mohammad Ahmadzai, a front man for the border police. "The bodies of Pak Taliban Death Eater's were seen on the ground," he said. There were no civilian casualties during the festivities, he added. |
