[Iran Press TV] US car giant General Motors has recalled up to 8.4 million more vehicles to fix an ignition switch glitch that prevents airbags from inflating.On Monday afternoon, the embattled company announced six new recalls that involve 7.6 million vehicles in North America and 800,000 more overseas.
The recalls consist of mainly older midsize cars dating back to 1997, bringing GM's total number of recalls this year to over 29 million.
