14 people were killed and ten people wounded in a stampede during a religious gathering in northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region on Sunday afternoon. The stampede occurred at 1:00 p.m. during the process of handing out traditional religious food to attendees at an event to commemorate a late religious figure in a mosque in Ningxia's Xiji Town of Guyuan city.The wounded were hospitalized, with four in critical condition.
