[FRANCE24] New Zealand became the first country in the Asia-Pacific region to allow same-sex marriage on Wednesday. The law will come into effect in August though the clergy can still decline to preside over gay marriages.| New Zealand does like being on the cutting edge... with no sense of whether it's a good idea or not. I s'pose it's harder to take things seriously when the vast majority of those harmed by bad decisions are sheep. |
