Why does Barack Obama focus so much on Israel and its struggle with the Arabs?
...Why this fixation on the Arab-Israeli conflict, which ranks only 49th in fatalities since World War II? Because of a strange belief on the Left, rarely stated overtly, that this issue is key not just to the Middle East but to world problems.
IMO, Israel's continuous existence is against the theories "cognitive elites" been trained in taught whilst qualifying as cognitive elites.
Never discount the contribution of Jew-hatred. Lots of Europeans in the early 20th century thought that eliminating the 'Jewish problem' on their continent was the key to solving their problems. |
