| Rubber tapper shot in southern Thailand |

| A rubber taper was shot and seriously wounded in a drive-by shooting in Narathiwat province on Saturday morning. Kudeng Rayeekae, 33, was riding his motorcycle on the rural road at heading to his rubber plantation when a gunman riding pillion on another motorcycle fired on him. Kudeng took two bullets to his left hand and shoulder and was taken to Rangae hospital. Police blamed separatist |
