| Obama taps Strategic Petroleum Reserve |

23 June 2011 (NPR): The Obama administration has decided to release 30 million barrels of oil from the country's emergency reserve as part of a broader international response to lost oil supplies caused by turmoil in the Middle East and North Africa, particularly Libya.
Now for something completely different (and this will not be reported by the MSM): The United States consumed 18.8 million barrels per day (MMbd) of petroleum products during 2009.
The Big Zero has outdone himself in another stupid and at the same time inadequate action. |
