Mortars allegedly fired from Afghanistan killed eight people in North Wazoo on Thursday, officials said. Two intelligence officials said the mortars hit a house in Tity Mada Khel village in the North Wazoo tribal area and killed eight people, including five men and three women. According to two other officials, 11 people were maimed in the attack. It was not immediately clear who fired the mortars.
