| (Itar-Tass) - Police have prevented a large terrorist attack in the Dagestan town of Khasavyurt. "A VAZ-2101 car boom was found in Vtoraya Street, which contained a 65-litre canister with a mixture of ammonium nitrate and aluminum powder, as well as destructive agents: bolts, nuts and pebbles," the information center of the National Anti-Terrorist Committee (NAK) told Itar-Tass. "The remotely controlled homemade bomb weighed some 70 kilograms," NAK said. |
