| 24 arrested in Basra raids |

| Aswat al-Iraq: Police forces arrested 24 persons wanted on different charges during search raids all over the province of Basra on Thursday, according to a local security source. "Forces from the Basra Emergency Police Department today (Sept. 30) captured 24 persons who are wanted on different criminal charges," the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency. |
