| Haiti buries 70,000 in mass graves |

| OFFICIALS in Haiti have announced an estimated 70,000 bodies have been buried in mass graves since the earthquake. The Haitian Government declared a state of emergency until the end of January, as the country observes a month-long period of mourning.
