| Three 'militants,' one woman killed in Kashmir |

| [Dawn] Three militants and a female bystander were killed on Monday during a fierce gun-battle with soldiers in Indian-administered Kashmir, police said. Fighting broke out near Tral town, about 40 kilometres south of the regional capital of Srinagar, when Indian troops raided a suspected militant hideout. 'A woman was killed in the crossfire,' a police spokesman said, adding that three troopers were injured. 'Two of the dead militants were Pakistani nationals,' he said. |
