Malignant teacher has class vote special needs kid out

2008-05-29

Morningside Elementary kindergarten teacher Wendy Portillo had her students each tell a special needs kid why they don't like him and then had them "vote him out of class" by a 14-2 margin. She then backs it up by telling officials and reporters that she doesn't see anything wrong with it. The little guy seems to be traumatized by it and the fact that the teacher had his only friend vote him out of class.
