| Five killed in police-Naxal encounter in Jharkhand |

| DUMKA (JHARKHAND): Three policemen and two Naxalites were killed in an encounter near Makra Pahari in Jharkhand's Dumka district early Saturday morning. "The officer-incharge of Shikaripara police station, Samshad Ansari and two constables were killed in the encounter," Superintendent of Police Sidho Hembrom said. Two Naxalites were killed in the encounter. A Naxalite was arrested and two rifles seized from his possession. |
