| Hamas Fires Numerous Rockets at Sderot, Ashkelon |

| As of mid day local time: Two people were lightly wounded on Thursday as a barrage of Qassam rockets rained down on the Negev town of Sderot. Palestinian militants in the Gaza Strip fired at least 10 rockets into Israel by mid-Thursday afternoon, police said. Militants also launched five Grad-type missiles at southern Israel, striking Ashkelon. ---------- The rocket count will increase during the day. So will the IDF response. |
