| Hamas: PA seizes four journalists in Tulkarem |

| Ma'an – The Palestinian Authority arrested four journalists in the West Bank City of Tulkarem on Tuesday, the Hamas movement said. According to Hamas, the detainees included the head of Al-Aqsa television in the West Bank, Muhammad Shtewi, Al-Aqsa correspondent Tariq Shahab, Palestine newspaper journalist Salim Tayeh, and another journalist named Fareed As Sayed. The Fatah-controlled Palestinian Authority shut down the Hamas-affiliated Al-Aqsa satellite channel in the West Bank after Hamas took control of the Gaza Strip in June. |
