Chávez vows not to speak to Uribe as long as he lives |

![]() The head of state labeled as "extraordinary" his almost one hour meeting with Fernández and noted that both Venezuela and Argentina had "some ongoing joint projects." On Monday night, during a new meeting with the media, Chávez said that Uribe was aware that by December 31st the Colombian Revolutionary Armed Forces (FARC) were prepared to release a first group of hostages, including probably ex Colombian presidential candidate Ingrid Betancourt. "He terminated knowingly the negotiations. He is a fake and a traitor," said Chávez. |
