| DEBKAfile reports: Israeli troops fighting off Palestinian assaults on Gaza-Israel border fence kill 5 Hamas Wednesday night Our military sources report they were killed by Golani Brigade troops, who drove into the Gaza Strip and intercepted Hamas gunmen heading for the fence. Altogether in the last 48 hours, 15 armed Palestinians were killed before they reached firing positions on the border or managed to cross over. Among them was a three-man Hamas mortar crew on its way to shell Kerem Shalom. |
