The Tribal Areas are quickly falling into the grip of the Taliban, who are being allowed to impose their brand of justice, Pakistan PeopleÂ’s Party (PPP) Information Secretary Sherry Rehman said on Tuesday. In an accompanying statement, the PPP condemned the crimes against women by local Taliban, noting last weekÂ’s beheading of an alleged prostitute in Mohmand Agency and the bombing of two girlsÂ’ schools a couple of days ago. Rehman said the government has done an injustice to Pakistan by allowing the Taliban to regroup in FATA and said the people of the region want the same political rights as other Pakistanis.
