(KUNA) -- A high level Iraqi official survived an assassination attempt Sunday morning when a road side bomb blasted his car in Baghdad, a security source told KUNA. The General Manager of the Development Bank at the Iraqi Ministry of Education was not injured by the blast but his two bodyguards were wounded.Meanwhile, a second bomb detonated near the Technology Institute in Baghdad killing one civilian and injuring two others. Baghdad Police Chief, Ali Al-Yasseri survived an assassination attempt yesterday when a booby trapped car exploded as his motorcade went through. The attack killed one civilian and injured six people including two of Yasseri's bodyguards.
