Sohaib Bencheikh, an Islamic scholar who heads Marseilles Superior Institute of Islamic Science, complained the conference had been used to call for a condemnation of the Mohammed cartoons by the United Nations. He said: "We shouldn't think that the Prophet is so weak that he can be disgraced by a cartoon in bad taste."| Whoa. Major jolt to the ol' meter. Guess it does work after all. |
