| Six geezers arrested in protest |

Protesters billed the event as a "citizens' weapons blockade" timed to coincide with the third anniversary of the start of the Iraq war. Defense contractor Raytheon makes the Tomahawk cruise missile. About 15 protesters blocked the company entrance at 1115 E. Hermans Road, off the Nogales Highway, during the noon hour, said Dawn Barkman of the Pima County Sheriff's Department. In a news release distributed before the protest, organizers said they wanted to stop shipments of bombs and missiles. With one exception, all aging hippies caught in a 40-year time-warp. Oh, well, the terrorists thank them for their support. |
