In the UK, many tabloids and national newspapers are owned by Rupert Murdoch who is a media giant based in the USA. Previously he lived in the UK. It is difficult to guess if the recent coverage was carried out under any specific directives issued by Mr Murdoch or an unsaid policy aimed at causing ill-feeling among the British against Pakistanis. |
