| Columnist Saleem Safi in a Pakistan daily listed the retired and in-service army personnel holding key administrative and political posts in Pakistan. Truly a praetorian state, not surprising when one considers that the army predates the state itself, was an agent of colonial oppression and was never brought to heel. |
