 Security forces on Friday killed a local commander of Kashmir's largest terrorist militant group in a gunfight in the Indian-controlled portion of the disputed Himalayan region, police said. Indian army soldiers killed Yusuf Shaikh, a top terrorist fighter of the Hezb-ul Mujahedeen group, during a gunfight in Ratsun, about 35 kilometers (20 miles) north of Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu-Kashmir state, a police officer said on condition of anonymity.
