-Lurid Crime Tales-
Arizona man accused of plotting mass casualty attack on religious site with 'cookbook' tied to OKC bombing
[FoxNews] Maricopa County prosecutors allege the 27-year-old referred to 'The Anarchist Cookbook' as his 'Bible'

An Arizona man who allegedly plotted a mass casualty attack on a Jewish or Muslim house of worship is being accused by prosecutors of possessing an infamous bomb-making manual linked to the Oklahoma City bomber.

Matthew Bjornholt, 27, faces a felony count of making a terrorist threat in connection with his alleged plot to attack a religious site.

Prosecutors in Maricopa County said Bjornholt laid out a chilling blueprint for violence that involved guns, explosives and an accomplice tasked with gunning down survivors.

During an initial court appearance on Friday, prosecutor Stephen Garcia sought a $500,000 cash bond, calling Bjornholt an imminent danger to the community, according to FOX 10.

Bjornholt allegedly outlined detailed plans to attack a religious site, according to Garcia, who also claimed the suspect kept a copy of "The Anarchist Cookbook," a manual containing bomb-making instructions that has been linked to Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh.

Garcia alleged that Bjornholt referred to the book as his "Bible."
Is that because it’s anarchist or because it has good, clear instructions? Because if it’s only the instructions, that would be a simple lurid crime, not Fifth Column.
The alleged plot included plans to detonate bombs before an accomplice of Bjornholt's would begin "picking off people" with firearms, according to prosecutors.
Ugly but classic…
Investigators later seized three guns and ammunition from Bjornholt’s home.

Bjornholt’s defense attorney, Chad Schell, pushed back against the allegations, claiming that the charges are based solely on unverified hearsay from a disgruntled former acquaintance, according to FOX 10.

Schell told the court that the tip came from a "homeless alcoholic" whom Bjornholt had briefly let crash on his couch before kicking him out late last month.
Or possibly the lurid crime is the false accusation by a resentful user. I look forward to discovering which option is true.

Intense disagreement within the terrorist Houthi militia over the Taiz battles

Intense disagreement within the terrorist Houthi militia over the Taiz battles, where politicians believe that reinforcing Al-Mukha and Bab al-Mandab and the buffer zones should have been the priority instead of this depletion that the group fell into around Taiz's perimeter. They express their fears of the trap they have fallen into, where they are neither able to subdue the city, nor stabilize the countryside, nor hold onto Al-Mukha and Bab al-Mandab, at a time when they are threatened with the opening of fronts in Marib, Al-Jawf, and Al-Bayda.

Indeed, the Taiz front has depleted them militarily in terms of personnel and equipment, and depleted them morally in the eyes of the Yemeni citizen, the Arab, and the Muslim. For Taiz, in the eyes of the world, is enduring what the dignity of [a woman named] Uzza endures: destruction, killing, siege, and economic strangulation.

And Taiz has depleted their reputation as a force that both domestic and foreign voices speak of in terms of its capabilities and the resolve of its sons.

The battles are currently concentrated on the outskirts of the Sabikha area

The battles are currently concentrated on the outskirts of the Sabikha area, and once it is fully cleared of militia remnants, our forces will head toward the Waziya district and the Taiz districts beyond it to support the entrenched forces there, break the siege on Taiz from both outside and inside, and this advance has actually begun since this morning.

As for the Bab al-Mandab axis, the ongoing operation is a cleanup of limited remaining pockets, and after securing the depth and rear lines, the next destination for our forces will be the strategic city of Al-Makha.

This scenario is what is causing panic among the Houthi militia and driving them to throw their full military weight into a desperate attempt to stop it, whether preventing the advance toward Taiz to break its siege, or preventing the fall of Al-Makha, which would mean the collapse of their defense line and the subsequent fall of the Hodeidah districts like Hays, Al-Jarahi, and others.

And if our forces reach there, the militia will lose the most important maritime lifeline it feeds from in Hodeidah, and for this reason, they continue to throw thousands of the deceived into the fires of death, but to no avail, only to return as lifeless corpses to their families in Sana'a, Amran, Saada, Dhamar, and Ibb.

Again, more

🚨 Taiz Madraba Front 👇

A fighter speaks about the events of today's battles on the Madraba Front in Taiz

And what happened in it when a Houthi group tried to breach the front and infiltrate from the direction of Al-Sayla

And how the sons of Taiz rushed upon hearing the first shot with more than 500 individuals from citizens, fighters, and leaders to the front lines to support the front

And how the infiltrators, the tails of Iran, were eliminated before their fathers, not a single one of them survived

And how the men's resolve and morale soar to the heavens, and they swear by God that, God willing, the Houthi will not enter the city as long as they are alive

UK Charity Commission opens case against Restless Beings after UKLFI complaint alleging Hamas ties
[Jpost] The scrutiny follows a complaint UKLFI submitted detailing evidence of cooperation between Restless Beings and Merciful Hands Gaza, an organization designated as a terrorist entity in the US.

It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. ’s military wing.

The regulatory scrutiny follows a complaint UKLFI submitted detailing extensive evidence of cooperation between Restless Beings and Merciful Hands Gaza, an organization the US Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) designated in January as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist entity.

According to the US Treasury, Merciful Hands was owned, controlled, or directed by Hamas and integrated into its military wing, which provided funding and operational instructions.

UKLFI investigation documented overlap between Restless Beings, Merciful Hands

UKLFI's investigation documented overlapping personnel and joint humanitarian projects conducted between 2022 and 2024.

Evidence submitted to regulators included shared personnel such as Nura Barzaq, who was identified as a public relations officer for Merciful Hands and appeared in Restless Beings fundraising videos between 2022 and last year.

The dossier also identified aid workers Alaa al-Tabtibi and Mohammad Abu al-Ouf, who appeared in material published by Merciful Hands while filmed wearing Restless Beings-branded clothing during aid operations.

Additional findings cited joint aid operations during Ramadan 2022 featuring Restless Beings branding on packages, banners, and worker apparel in material published by Merciful Hands, alongside direct funding instances, including a February 2024 distribution of 450 meals funded by Restless Beings.

SENIOR HAMAS FIGURES TIED TO MERCIFUL HANDS ADMINISTRATION
The complaint further highlighted connections between Merciful Hands and senior Hamas figures, including Muhammad Abu Nar, who chaired Merciful Hands from approximately 2015 to 2023 and was reportedly a commander within the al-Qassam Brigades.

The dossier pointed to additional archival records, noting that footage from 2017 showed senior Hamas figure Ahmed Behar addressing a Merciful Hands gathering, alongside a local media report attributing the founding of the charity to senior Hamas military commander Ahmed Jabari.

UKLFI contended that these publicly accessible indicators should have prompted rigorous background checks by Restless Beings prior to and throughout their operational partnership.

RESTLESS BEINGS CLAIMS TO HAVE PROVIDED MEDICAL SUPPLIES, FOOD TO GAZA
According to Restless Beings' 2025 annual filing, the organization stated that it "produced a groundbreaking report on Israel's Genocide in Gaza. Led the calls on UK and EU Governments to impose arms embargo on Israel." The report also claimed that it provides "Food, medicals supplies and life-saving support for victims of Israel's Genocide in Paleostine."

The complaint asked the regulator to examine whether charitable assets or funds were channeled to Merciful Hands, whether proper partner-vetting procedures were followed, and whether trustees fulfilled their legal duties.

In response to the submission, the Charity Commission confirmed to UKLFI that it has opened a regulatory compliance case. The regulator emphasized that opening a case does not mean it has reached any findings against Restless Beings, explaining that the process allows the regulator to obtain and assess further information to determine whether regulatory action is required.

A spokesperson for UKLFI said, "We welcome the Charity Commission’s decision to open a regulatory compliance case following our complaint. British donors giving money to humanitarian causes are entitled to know that their donations will not benefit terrorist organizations. Where a charity works with an overseas partner that has been identified by the US Treasury as controlled by Hamas’s military wing, there are extremely serious questions about due diligence, financial oversight and the trustees’ responsibilities.

"Our investigation uncovered substantial evidence of shared personnel, joint operations and funding between Restless Beings and Merciful Hands. We believe these matters demand thorough scrutiny," the UKLFI spokesperson said.

Restless Beings did not respond to an emailed request for comment by publication time.

Australian MP has critical injuries after being hit by car in what PM calls 'deliberate act'
[BBC] This is a deeply uncomfortable wake-up call that Australia is vulnerable too

While the police are saying there’s an ongoing investigation and it’s a critical incident, it feels like the politicians have been briefed and are being very clear that this is a deliberate attack.

The prime minister talked about the political temperature rising here in Australia - but that it’s not an isolated Australian thing.

He talked about there being no place for violence in a democracy. High levels of security around politicians is not something we see here.

And in terms of regional offices such as this one in Wangaratta, there wouldn't have been any security in that sense because this is a country that hasn’t historically faced threats towards its politicians.

Australia often feels isolated - insulated - from the problems faced in other parts of the world.

But like Bondi last year, which was a devastating attack causing deep sadness and shock - this too feels like a deeply uncomfortable wake-up call - that Australia is vulnerable too.

WHAT WE KNOW
  • MP Helen Haines family says the incident happened outside her electorate office in Wangaratta, in the state of Victoria

  • She was hit by a white Toyota Landcruiser at 15:35 local time (05:35 BST), police say

  • A 43-year-old Tarrawingee man was arrested at the scene by a passerby - police say a knife was found in the car

  • They say they are investigating whether "this was an intentional act", but that they do not believe there is an "ongoing threat to the community"

  • Albanese says "this wasn’t an accident" and "there was a deliberate act, it would appear" - he also says counter terror police are involved in the investigation

Austrian Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Bulgaria After Bomb Threat, airline confirms no bomb found
[KhaamaPress] An Austrian Airlines flight from Tel Aviv to Vienna made an emergency landing in Sofia, Bulgaria, on Sunday after its crew received a bomb threat near the Romanian border, Bulgarian authorities said.

The Airbus A320, operating as flight OS82, was carrying 51 passengers and six crew members when it diverted to the Bulgarian capital on October 18, according to the Bulgarian Transport Ministry. All passengers and crew disembarked after the aircraft landed.

Bulgaria’s Transport Ministry said the crew received the bomb threat while the aircraft was near the Romanian border and decided to land in Sofia. The country’s air force deployed a MiG-29 fighter jet to escort the plane to the airport, the Defence Ministry said, Al Jazeera reported.

Bulgarian authorities established a crisis response team and launched an investigation into the incident. Austrian Airlines also conducted a security search of the aircraft, according to Al Jazeera, which cited the airline and international news agencies.

The airline said passengers would be rebooked onto alternative flights once the inspection was completed. Authorities had not publicly established whether the threat was credible or whether explosives were present at the time of the initial reports.

The incident comes weeks after a separate emergency involving a flydubai flight travelling from Dubai to Tel Aviv. On September 30, the aircraft diverted to Tabuk in northwestern Saudi Arabia

The flydubai Boeing 737 reportedly experienced a sharp loss of altitude during the incident before other pilots and passengers helped regain control. The co-pilot was subsequently charged with terrorism offences in the United Arab Emirates, Al Jazeera reported.

160 people were detained after riots in Milan.
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited
[Regnum] In Milan, Italy, 150 people were detained following unrest at a demonstration against rising living costs. This was reported on October 18 by the newspaper Corriere della Sera.

"During the riots and looting that rocked the city center again today, 160 young people were taken to Milan police headquarters," the publication said.
Where are their parents, and why are they allowing their near-adult offspring to run amok — or are they also a combination of Antifa/Black Bloc and Moslem colonists?
According to the newspaper, 80% of those detained were minors, according to sources in the Department of Public Order.

Earlier, ANSA reported that a wave of street protests against rising prices had swept Italy, with more than 50 people arrested. The protests resulted in violent clashes with police and riots in Milan, Turin, and Bologna. During the protests, protesters threw stones and firecrackers at security forces, set fires, and vandalized businesses. Police were forced to use tear gas and water cannons to restore order. According to preliminary reports, five police officers were injured in Milan, and approximately 20 others required medical attention.

France was also gripped by mass demonstrations against rising living costs. Up to 500,000 people participated in the protests. In several major cities, peaceful protests escalated into riots and clashes with security forces.

French Interior Minister Laurent Nunez reported the arrest of 1,800 people across the country, emphasizing that law enforcement agencies will continue to hold accountable all those involved in looting and other illegal activities.

The Grand Turk
Turkey Detains 58 Afghan and Pakistani Migrants in Separate Operations
[KhaamaPress] Ottoman Turkish authorities detained 58 Afghan and Pak migrants colonists in separate operations in Edirne and Kayseri, while four people were arrested on suspicion of organising migrant transport using forged documents, according to Ottoman Turkish media reports published on Saturday, October 17.

In the northwestern province of Edirne, security forces detained 27 Afghan and Pak nationals during inspections targeting irregular migration. The individuals were transferred to the provincial migration authority for administrative processing, Ottoman Turkish media reported.

In a separate operation in Kayseri, police stopped two vehicles on the main road leading towards Malatya after receiving information about the alleged transport of migrants colonists using forged documents.

Authorities found 31 Afghan nationals in one of the vehicles, while the second vehicle was allegedly being used as a lead car to identify police checkpoints and help the convoy avoid inspections. Police detained the migrants colonists and four suspected organisers. The suspects were referred to a court after questioning, while the migrants colonists were expected to be transferred to repatriation centres as procedures for possible removal from Turkiye proceeded.

The arrests come amid a wider Ottoman Turkish campaign against irregular migration and migrant smuggling. Ottoman Turkish media reported that more than 30,000 Afghan nationals were tossed into the calaboose nationwide by October 8 over a lack of valid residency documents.

Earlier figures reports indicated, citing Turkiye’s Directorate General of Migration Management, showed that 25,314 Afghans were tossed into the calaboose during the first eight months of 2026, out of nearly 95,000 irregular migrants colonists of all nationalities. Afghans were the largest nationality group in those figures.

India-Pakistan
Army major martyred, 4 terrorists killed in Balochistan IBOs: ISPR
[Dawn] An army major was martyred and four bad boyz were potted during intelligence-based operations in Balochistan
...the Pak province bordering Kandahar and Uruzgun provinces in Afghanistan and Sistan Baluchistan in Iran. Its native Baloch propulation is being displaced by Pashtuns and Punjabis and they aren't happy about it...
, the military’s media wing said on Monday.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement that security forces conducted a series of operations in areas of Shadi Kaur and Pasni in Gwadar, and Jattakabad in Kalat district, on the reported presence of multiple hideouts of Fitna al Hindustan.

The state has designated Balochistan-based groups as Fitna al Hindustan to highlight India’s role in terrorism and destabilisation across Pakistain.

In the first operation on October 18, security forces conducted an IBO in the general area of Jattakabad, during which four forces of Evil were eliminated.

"A large cache of arms and ammunition was also recovered," it added.

In the second operation, ISPR added that security forces conducted a series of clearance operations in the general area of Shadi Kaur, Pasni, in Gwadar.

It added that 34-year-old Major Wajahat Waheed, a Lahore resident who was leading the operation, was martyred in an improvised bomb (IED) attack.

"Sanitisation operations will continue to eliminate any other forces of Evil found in the area. The relentless counterterrorism campaign under the vision of ’Azm-e-Istehkam’, as approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, will continue at full pace."

"Security forces and law enforcement agencies remain committed to eliminating the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country," ISPR added.

President Asif Ali Ten Percent Zardari

...former president of Pakistain, husband of the late Benazir Bhutto, who has been singularly lacking in curiosity about who done her in...
and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday, in separate statements, commended security forces for the successful operations.

They also paid tribute to Major Wajahat Waheed, extending their condolences to his family.

President Zardari, in a statement posted on X, reaffirmed that conspiracies of "the terrorists’ foreign patrons and their local controllers will be thwarted".

PM Shehbaz reiterated the resolve to continue the fight against foreign-sponsored terrorism until its complete eradication, state media reported.

INTENSIFIED OPERATIONS
Balochistan has witnessed an increase in terrorist activities in recent years, prompting security forces to intensify counter-terrorism operations.

A day earlier, security forces killed eight "India-sponsored" forces of Evil during IBOs conducted in the Quetta, Nushki and Khuzdar districts of Balochistan.

On the night of Oct 12/13, security forces busted a terrorist hideout and killed five forces of Evil during an IBO in Washuk, ISPR said.

Days later, Balochistan government officials said that six forces of Evil affiliated with the banned Tehrik-e-Taliban

organization
had been arrested during IBOs across the province.

They said around 90 arrested forces of Evil were being held at a centre where investigations and legal proceedings were under way.

Earlier this month, five forces of Evil were eliminated in Balochistan’s Mastung district, state media reported.

The number of terrorist attacks in the province increased by seven per cent from 83 in July to 89 in August, according to data compiled by the Pakistain Institute for Conflict and Security Studies (PICSS). As per the report, Balochistan was declared the province "most affected" by terrorism.

Iraq
Iraq arrests three drug traffickers after sea shootout, seizes 30 kg of narcotics
[Rudaw] Iraqi security forces arrested three suspected international drug traffickers of foreign nationality following an exchange of gunfire in the country's territorial waters, recovering 30 kilograms of drugs that the suspects had thrown into the sea, the country's anti-drug directorate announced Sunday.

In a statement, the country’s General Directorate for Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Affairs said that the confrontation took place in open waters and involved an exchange of gunfire, adding that the forces engaged the suspects “in accordance with the rules of engagement.” One suspect was wounded during the exchange of gunfire.

“In a desperate attempt to cover up their crime, the suspects threw the narcotics into the sea, assuming the waters would serve as a veil to cover their tracks,” read the statement, adding that the security forces could retrieve 30 kilograms of narcotics from the seabed and arrest the suspects.

The statement did not specify the suspects' nationalities, the type of drugs seized or the exact location of the confrontation.

The confrontation comes amid Iraq's intensified crackdown on drug trafficking networks, with authorities reporting dozens of armed clashes and hundreds of networks dismantled since the beginning of the year.

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
IDF reveals Hamas plot to bomb Gaza refugee camps
[IsraelNationalNews] The IDF has revealed an internal document belonging to the Hamas terrorist organization detailing plans to plant explosive devices in areas of displaced persons camps in the Gaza Strip.

"This was part of Hamas’ preparations to protect its leadership and operatives and evacuate them from areas where the IDF was expected to operate, while endangering and exploiting the civilian population in the area, fully aware that these actions were likely to cause direct harm to civilians," the IDF emphasized.

The document, written in April 2024 and now revealed for the first time, shows that Hamas' engineering department proposed planting explosive devices around displaced persons camps and detonating them as IDF troops approached. Such a move would have placed the civilian population in the camps at risk, in order to create panic as a smokescreen for the escape of its operatives.

IDF, Shin Bet arrest 10 suspects connected to attack on US journalist, EU diplomats in West Bank
[Jpost] The suspects were transferred for questioning, and security forces are continuing to investigate the settler extremist-led violence of the weekend.

Israel's security services arrested 10 suspects early Monday morning in connection with the violent mostly peaceful events that occurred over the weekend in the West Bank, which included an attack on Washington Post photojournalist Heidi Levine.

The operation, dubbed Operation Olive Leaf, was carried out in cooperation with the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency), Border Police, and the IDF.

In addition to the arrests, several vehicles were confiscated, and illegal construction was cleared out.

The suspects were transferred for questioning, and security forces are continuing to investigate the settler holy warrior-led violence of the weekend.

Israel Police Commissioner Daniel Levy said, "The law in Judea and Samaria applies to everyone, regardless of identity or affiliation. The Israel Police is committed to professional, equal, and impartial law enforcement, based on evidence and in accordance with the law."

He continued, saying, "At the same time, a distinction must be made between responsibility for preventing incidents in the field and responsibility for investigating and enforcing the law after they occur. We will continue to coordinate with all security agencies to strengthen security and the rule of law and ensure that anyone found to have violated the law is brought to justice."

DEMANDS FOR INVESTIGATION, ARRESTS MET
US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee on Saturday night called for the investigation, arrest, and prosecution "to the fullest extent of the law" of the participants in the attack on photojournalist Heidi Levine.

The Israel-based Washington Post photojournalist Heidi Levine was maimed during a Friday altercation between holy warrior settlers and Paleostinians in the West Bank.

Levine sustained injuries to her limbs, according to medical information provided. Speaking to Walla, she said she had also suffered injuries to her back and a rib, describing a prolonged assault during which her cameras and personal belongings were stolen.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the incident on Friday, saying that "those responsible will be brought to justice."

Additionally, masked settlers allegedly attacked European diplomats who were present during attacks on Paleostinian olive harvesters near the village of Taybeh in the West Bank.

The Belgian Foreign Affairs minister, Maxime Prevot, condemned the attack and added that the Belgian government will continue to push for sanctions against "those responsible for this violence and those who support them."

In a subsequent statement concerning the reported attack on diplomats in the West Bank, Israel Police said, "The Binyamin Police Station in the Judea and Samaria District has opened an investigation into an assault following footage circulated online showing an attack on several diplomats who were in the area of the village of Taybeh.

IDF, POLICE EXPAND CRACK-DOWN ON NATIONALIST VIOLENCE
The IDF, Border Police, and Israel Police have, more generally, intensified efforts to combat lawbreakers and rising nationalist violence in the West Bank, with an average of seven to 10 illegal outposts evacuated each week in recent weeks.

The IDF's Central Command plans to further increase the number of evacuations in the coming weeks as security forces struggle to prevent repeat offenses.

#1  "those responsible will be brought to justice."

We live in an unperfect world - real justice would be to shoot the envoys and to hang the journalists.

IRGC continues strikes in Rojhelat despite Kurdish group’s warnings
[Rudaw] The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) on Sunday targeted the mountainous and forested areas of Marivan in the western Kurdistan Province, despite recent warnings from a Kurdish opposition group that it would exercise its “right to self-defense” if attacks on its positions continue.

According to the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN), a Paris-based human rights watchdog, citing a resident from Gavileh village, northeast of Marivan, the IRGC forces on Sunday “deployed a military convoy equipped with artillery and drones around the village.”

The source added that IRGC forces first targeted the mountainous Dashti Mil area near the village with several suicide drones, then carried out heavy artillery shelling of the area.

The rights group has also reported similar attacks on the mountainous regions since Tuesday.

The recent attack comes only a day after the Kurdistan Free Life Party (PJAK), an Iranian Kurdish opposition group, warned the IRGC that it would exercise its “right to self-defense” if attacks on its positions continued.

The Eastern Kurdistan Units (YRK), PJAK's armed wing, warned in a statement, “We will exercise our legitimate right to self-defense and deliver the necessary response” if attacks continue.

The warning came after the clashes between Kurdish opposition armed groups and Iran’s IRGC began on Thursday and have continued into Friday in western Iran’s Kurdish region, known as Rojhelat, particularly around the Shaho mountain range.
