[BBC] A woman has been arrested after injuring three people in a third knife attack recorded at schools in Poland this week.
The 21-year-old used a "dangerous object" to attack a 17-year-old girl at an educational institution in the capital, Warsaw, police told news agencies PAP and AP.
It comes a day after thousands of police visited schools across Poland, following two stabbing attacks earlier in the week, one of which led to the killing of a female caretaker.
A Warsaw police spokesperson said they could not confirm whether the latest incident was related to the two previous attacks.
Authorities told local media that the 17-year-old injured on Saturday had been taken to hospital, but her condition was not life-threatening.
Two other women aged 17 and 24, who had gone in to submit enrolment documents, were also injured, Poland's state news agency reported.
Police told local media that the suspected attacker was a student at the school and initial findings suggested that she did not know the three victims.
Schools in Poland had been stepping up security following knife attacks at schools across the country on 7 and 8 October. Polish police said they had detained 76 people after deploying to schools across the country.
"When it comes to the safety of Polish children and peace in our schools, there is no room for compromise," Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said ahead of the operation.
Local media, citing a police spokesperson, reported authorities had information to suggest incidents this past week could be related to an internet challenge.
On Wednesday, a 19-year-old student attacked and injured nine people at a vocational school in the central Polish province of Mazovian.
A day later, a 37-year-old caretaker was killed after a 15-year-old entered a primary school in Leszczydół-Nowiny, north of Warsaw.
Interior Minister Marcin Kierwiński also said a 17-year-old was detained in the town of Sierpc, north-west of Warsaw, after allegedly stating "on school grounds that he planned to do something... dangerous - that he intended to harm someone".

[Breitbart] A targeted federal immigration enforcement operation turned into a foot pursuit and vehicle collision in Harris County, Texas, on Saturday morning after a multi-time deported illegal alien with a history of drunk driving arrests fled federal agents.
According to information provided to Breitbart Texas by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials, officers were conducting a targeted enforcement operation at approximately 8:30 a.m. local time on October 10 to arrest Jose Mendoza-Cervantes, a Mexican national and public safety threat. Mendoza-Cervantes has four prior arrests for driving under the influence, an arrest for unlawful possession of a firearm, and a final order of removal from a federal immigration judge.
The Mexican criminal alien has been previously deported twice after illegally entering the country five times—a federal felony.
During surveillance, ICE officers observed Mendoza-Cervantes enter a vehicle alongside another Mexican illegal alien, Miguel Parra-Hernandez, and attempted a traffic stop, ICE officials stated. Both men pulled over and immediately fled on foot. During the foot pursuit, Parra-Hernandez ran directly in front of an ICE vehicle and was struck.
ICE officers provided immediate medical aid and called EMS; Parra-Hernandez was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and is currently in stable condition.
ICE officials linked the dangerous attempt to evade apprehension to recent public efforts by Democrat sanctuary politicians.
“This dangerous attempt to evade arrest comes after sanctuary politicians held webinars and provided resources and tips for how to openly defy ICE,” officials stated, offering the following examples.:
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez hosted a webinar providing tips for illegal aliens to evade arrests at homes, workplaces, or in public.
Dan Goldman posted a video online calling on illegal aliens to make a plan for ICE encounters.
Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass issued multilingual flyers and online resources advising illegal aliens on how to evade arrest.
California Governor Gavin Newsom released guides and sanctuary laws advising illegal aliens on how to recognize ICE, block entry, and defy arrest.
[NYP] Forget nukes — the next US-China-Russia showdown could be over who blows the lid off the UFO mystery first.
US Rep. Eric Burlison (R-Mo.) is warning that America risks handing its rivals a propaganda victory if the Trump administration fails to follow through on its promises of transparency about UFOs and potential evidence of extraterrestrial life.
“I think it would definitely be a misstep because of what we would be demonstrating to our people,” Burlison told The Post.
“We’re supposed to be the most transparent country in the world to its citizenry and if another country is able to be more transparent than the United States on this topic it would be a blemish on our otherwise pristine legacy on transparency.”
Brazil could also join the race to reveal what governments know about UFOs. Former Brazilian presidential candidate and defense minister Aldo Rebelo told The Post that Brazil would release its own files if the US made public its records on the alleged 1996 UFO crash in Varginha.
Burlison suggested that such a disclosure could help corroborate information the US has already released.
“If a foreign country validates what we release, it will give more confidence to the American people that this isn’t some disinformation campaign or a hoax and I think that would be a good thing,” Burlison said.
“I’d suggest that if he has access to it and wants to bring it to me, I will be happy to work with to release that information.”
The stakes could be especially high if claims about rival powers’ alleged UFO recoveries prove true.
Whistleblower David Grusch, who once worked as a staffer for Burlison, recently stated on the Joe Rogan podcast that both Russia and China are in possession of crashed UFOs.
China has publicly acknowledged they investigate UFO sightings and are using AI to enhance their understanding of the mystery sightings, the South China Morning Post reported in 2021.
Investigative reporter George Knapp released a trove of documents on Russia in February that he snuck out of the USSR in 1991. Those documents point to the Soviets investigating thousands of reports of UFOs while officially denying their existence in public.

[Regnum] Hundreds of thousands of people were left without power after Hurricane Isaias struck the southern United States. The storm reached the Gulf of Mexico, ABC News reported.
On the morning of October 10, more than 726,000 residents of Florida and Alabama remained without power. The governors of these states had previously declared a state of emergency in response to the approaching hurricane. In Florida, it is active in 27 counties.
According to the television station, roads in Destin were flooded, and in neighboring Pensacola, police warned residents to stay off the streets due to debris scattered across the roads. The extent of the damage is still unknown, but many locals are posting photos of fallen trees and downed power lines on social media. Eyewitnesses also reported that the storm ripped the roof off a hotel in Pensacola.
The US National Hurricane Center reported that Isaias made landfall near Destin and is moving north at approximately 19 mph (31 km/h). Winds are reaching 105 mph (169 km/h), with gusts exceeding 125 mph (200 km/h). The hurricane previously reached Category 3 status with winds of 125 mph (193 km/h). As of the morning of October 10, the hurricane had reached Alabama.

[Regnum] A cloud of solar material ejected during one of the recent solar flares has reached Earth. A powerful magnetic storm has begun on the planet, Mikhail Leus, a leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, reported on October 10.
The weather forecaster clarified that the geomagnetic field responded to the arrival of solar plasma with a strong magnetic storm of level G3 (the third level out of five possible).
"Due to magnetic field disturbances, auroras can be observed in various regions of our country," Leus wrote in MAX.
Previously, experts predicted that weak and moderate magnetic storms would hit Earth on October 9. Several M-level solar flares (the second-lowest possible intensity) occurred, two of which were recorded on October 6. The planet's geomagnetic field is expected to return to a calm state by October 11.
The first magnetic storm of the fall occurred on September 8th. The event was weak, classified as Category 1 on a five-point scale. The disturbances were associated with a plasma cloud ejected by the Sun.
[FoxNews] One Maine lobsterman isn’t ready to give up after the Supreme Court declined to hear his challenge to a GPS vessel-tracking requirement Monday, fearing it threatens a way of life passed down for generations and could ripple across other industries.
For decades, fifth-generation lobsterman Frank Thompson has driven his boat from Vinalhaven, a small island off the Maine coast, into deeper waters to set traps and haul in lobsters. Now, he says a GPS tracking mandate has turned his boat into a government-issued 24/7 "ankle bracelet," sparking a years-long legal battle over constant surveillance and Fourth Amendment rights.
"This is totally against the Fourth Amendment, and somebody's got to hear it one way or another," Thompson told Fox News Digital. "This black box that they're putting aboard the boat is not legal, in my mind, and I'm not a criminal."
Thompson, who also owns Fox Island Lobster Company with his wife and two sons, was out fishing earlier this month when one of his sons texted him, letting him know the Supreme Court had declined his petition to hear the case and left in place a First Circuit ruling that said the GPS tracking requirement did not violate the Fourth Amendment because lobstering is a closely regulated industry.

[FoxNews] Fallen officer identified as Shane Seiber, father of 2
A Philadelphia police officer died Saturday after he and his partner were ambushed and shot multiple times while responding to a report of an armed man in the western part of the city.
Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner identified the suspect as 35-year-old Eric Lewis, who has a criminal record dating back to 2012, according to Pennsylvania court records reviewed by Fox News Digital.
A municipal labor union also identified Lewis as an employee of the Philadelphia Water Department.
Krasner outlined a series of charges stemming from the shooting, including attempted murder, attempted homicide of a law enforcement officer, aggravated assault and gun offenses. Prosecutors identified at least 11 potential victims, including the two officers who were shot and nine additional people who were fired upon.
Police Commissioner Kevin Bethel identified the officer who died as Shane Seiber, a 40-year-old father who spent 10 years on the force.
He leaves behind his wife and his two children, a 7-year-old son and a 3-year-old daughter.
"He fought valiantly, but he lost his life today," Bethel said at a morning news conference. "His wife was able to be by his side before he passed, as well as his family."
Lewis was found guilty of theft and receiving stolen property in 2012 and gun-related offenses and simple assault in 2013, receiving probation in both cases, according to court records. In 2018, Lewis pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct involving fighting and was again sentenced to probation.
Court records also show Lewis was cited for three traffic violations in 2024, including driving without headlights, failing to provide proof of insurance and windshield-related violations.
District Council 33, a labor union representing Philadelphia municipal workers, identified Lewis as one of its members and an employee of the Philadelphia Water Department in a Facebook statement addressing the shooting.
[GeorgiaRecord] An Oklahoma federal court has ruled in a new case that a warrantless search of Flock Safety license plate data is a Fourth Amendment violation. The judge called the system "a type of indiscriminate mass surveillance."
A Tulsa sheriff's deputy was found to have had no warrant and "no apparent reason" to look up a woman's license plate number other than that she had a car with California license plates, reports TechCrunch, citing reporting by 404 Media. Her travel history was then used to justify searching her car, where 91 pounds of methamphetamine were allegedly found. All evidence obtained after the Flock search "must be suppressed as the fruit of a poisonous tree," ruled Judge Sara Hill.
Hill's findings went beyond the single stop. As she noted, the tracking of people moving about in public becomes "constitutionally problematic when law enforcement can indiscriminately and passively catalog your whereabouts over an extended period of time and then use that information for any purpose whenever convenient." She distinguished Flock from the targeted cell phone location request at issue in Carpenter v. United States, and her depiction of Flock is telling: she said it "is a tool that collects information about all vehicles that pass by any network-connected camera at all times, and it serves up the information to law enforcement on demand."
This ruling is not binding on other courts. However, TechCrunch notes that this is one of the first times a federal court has ruled that a Flock search was unconstitutional.
There is increasing pressure on Flock across the political spectrum. Local and state governments, including Florida and Texas, have said they will stop using the technology. On Friday, Senator Bernie Sanders introduced the Block Flock Act, which would bar federal agencies from using automated license plate readers like Flock.
Flock CEO Garrett Langley is now seeking a middle ground between privacy and safety and apologized to the women stalked by police officers using the system. With customers cancelling contracts, Flock has reportedly offered voluntary buyouts to shrink its workforce, TechCrunch reports.

The lack of warrant and later seizure come under the heading Pretexting.
LE had intel, either from informants or cell phone captures, and need an excuse, a pretext, to make the stop. What they admitted in court, and what they didn't want to talk about shows what they deem valuable.

[Regnum] As soon as the first round of the presidential elections in Brazil ended, with right-wing candidate Flavio Bolsonaro winning, mass demonstrations began across the country, with students leading the way. Organized by the Black Bloc, no doubt, rather than anything remotely spontaneous.
Students from Fluminense Federal University were the first to make their mark: on the campus of the Faculty of Law, they demonstrated in support of leftist candidate and incumbent President Lula da Silva and called for the prevention of an amnesty for former leader Jair Bolsonaro. Political analysts predict Bolsonaro's son will also win the runoff on October 25.
Attempting to punish them for daring to stand against the Left? How unoriginal.
Following this protest, representatives of other educational institutions in 14 Brazilian states issued similar statements. According to local media, more than 40 national universities are holding events in support of Lula da Silva.
Who, pray tell, is financing all these spontaneous protests? Communist China via pro-communist tech tycoon Neville Roy Singham, who has been doing so here, or someone similar?
Protests take a wide variety of forms, including street demonstrations, rallies, and plenary sessions of student councils and graduate student organizations. The schedule of protests has already been approved until October 13, and they intend to continue without interruption until the start of the second round.
The exact number of protesters is unknown, but the largest march in Rio de Janeiro on October 7th was attended by "thousands of people." They are concerned about a wide range of issues, but the key trigger is a complete shift toward the United States should Flávio Bolsonaro win.
NOT JUST ANYONE'S BACKYARD
American media affiliated with the Democratic Party are broadcasting the protesters' point of view: some are openly saying that if Flavio Bolsonaro wins, "Brazil will become an American colony."
Others fear that Flávio will begin to implement all the ideas of the Bolsonaro family's great friend, US President Donald Trump, and will "persecute" representatives of sexual minorities, feminists, and Afro-Brazilians.
Others cannot forgive Bolsonaro Sr.'s policies during the coronavirus pandemic, which has killed over 700,000 people.
Others recall the behavior of Flavio's brother, Eduardo Bolsonaro, who actively called for trade sanctions against Brazil and always sought to turn the country into "America's backyard."
Eduardo Bolsonaro's aspirations have already partially come true. In July, Trump ordered the US Treasury to impose 25% tariffs on most Brazilian imports, dealing a significant blow to the country's economy and increasing the number of enemies of the influential family.
However, at this stage, protesters are not crossing the line, have hardly been seen clashing with the police, and are primarily engaged in political agitation, rousing Brazil's youth ahead of the second round of presidential elections.
Some even suggest calling what's happening not protests, but a "review of protest potential," which, if Flávio Bolsonaro wins, could quickly spread to the streets of the capital and provincial capitals.
These claims are not without common sense, since student organizations, along with several trade unions, are a key asset of Lula da Silva and have already been used by him on several occasions in domestic political conflicts with right-wing officials.
For example, in October 2025, Rio de Janeiro's right-wing governor, Cláudio Castro, carried out a large-scale police operation in the favelas of Peña and Alemão without the consent of the presidential team, resulting in the deaths of over 100 people. Favelas have long been a left-wing stronghold, so this move was perceived as an attack on Lula's team.
Then, public sector employees and leftist activists took to the streets of Rio. They demanded an investigation into the actions of the police and Governor Castro, who had turned the city's poorest neighborhoods into a "war zone" and effectively carried out vigilante justice.
Bolsonaro's clan supporters backed the militant governor, but he was ousted a few months later amid a series of scandals that exposed allegations of investment fraud and bribery.
As the confrontation between Brazil's domestic political elites intensified in the wake of the elections, many American experts wrote even before the vote began that the Bolsonaroists were amassing all their resources to rally their supporters for protests and, if necessary, to wrest their coveted victory by force.
Lula's team, familiar with the methods of pro-American forces and not averse to using the same techniques to their own advantage, decided to approach the final round fully armed.
After all, by now it is already clear that if the right wins, a “witch hunt” could begin in the country.
EVERYONE BITES
One of the key players in Brazil's political life is the nation's Supreme Court, which in recent years has become almost the Bolsonaro family's main enemy.
Particularly furious was Judge Alexandre de Moraes, who played a key role in preparing the legal basis for the arrest of the elder Bolsonaro and the prosecution of many of his supporters who took part in the anti-government protests in January 2023.
And now, while students are taking to the streets, Moraes has issued an arrest warrant for the brother of presidential candidate Eduardo Bolsonaro, who currently lives in Texas.
If returned to his homeland, he faces more than four years in prison for pressuring the Brazilian judiciary and attempting to impose restrictions on Brazilian officials by the United States. The court deemed the duties imposed by the United States to be an "element of pressure."
However, things aren't going particularly well for Moraes himself. He was accused of ties to the owners of Banco Master, who committed fraud amounting to millions of Brazilian reals and allegedly sought advice from Moraes' wife, and then from Moraes himself, at the firm. The charges and correspondence were presented by Moraes's Supreme Court colleague, André Mendonça, a Bolsonaro clan supporter.
Moraes called the scandal "political revenge" and "an attempt at foreign interference in Brazil's internal affairs," but the biggest split in the Supreme Court in recent years has already occurred.
Flavio Bolsonaro's team is actively exploiting the situation, demanding Moraes' immediate resignation and a review of all his convictions, including those against Jair Bolsonaro.
For now, this case has been put on hold due to preparations for national elections, but it will inevitably resurface once the results are announced. And if Flávio Bolsonaro wins the presidency, his supporters in the Supreme Court could gain the strength they need to deal a crushing blow to Moraes's career.
IS THE WINNER CLEAR?
After the first round results were announced, showing Flávio Bolsonaro with approximately 47% of the vote, a long-standing Brazilian practice emerged: most of the previous contenders try to align themselves with the first round winner and develop the necessary connections with the potential president.
Despite the fact that the gap between Bolsonaro and Lula is minimal, Augusto Curi, who took third place in the first round, the candidate from the New Party, Romeu Zema, and other rivals of Lula have already joined the right-wing camp.
Kuri alone could "gift" Bolsonaro several million votes. It's also worth remembering that this arrangement gives Bolsonaro a majority of seats in the Brazilian Senate.
However, Lula da Silva isn't giving up hope—at least not publicly. He once again addressed the public and declared that he will certainly win the election. And the student protesters could play a significant role in that.
The fact is that the current Brazilian elections were also "famous" for the fact that almost a fifth of the population—more than 33 million people—did not vote. Approximately 20% of them were young people.
Young people rarely bother to vote. We see the same thing here in America, where despite talking about feeling keenly about the issues, most don’t vote until closer to thirty, or even older. Voting likelihood increases with age until about a decade after retirement.
Lula's strategy here is to inspire these people to go to the polls and vote the right way.
However, there's another caveat. Voting in Brazilian elections is mandatory, and those who fail to vote face fines and restrictions on access to government services. Despite this, over 33 million people ignored the potential inconvenience, making it clear they were not satisfied with any of the candidates on offer.
The current circumstances suggest that conflict over the election results will inevitably arise, meaning the potential for aggressive protests that could easily escalate into unrest is high.
Of course, Lula's team can make a big difference, but they're running out of time. And regional trends, which favor a right-wing victory, aren't in the incumbent leader's favor.
However, this is no reason to congratulate Flávio Bolsonaro. He will inherit a country where a significant portion of the population views both his cooperation with the US and his economic initiatives with great skepticism and negativity.
Ditto with all the other Latin American countries that recently elected pro-Trump populist conservatives. But they all started rapidly turning things around, winning over ever increasing numbers of those originally opposed. Brazil can hope for the same if Bolsonaro wins.
Repression against Lula's supporters will not help, which means more productive initiatives will have to be considered.
An interesting tidbit:
The third-place finisher behind Bolsonaro and Lula -- Augusto Cury -- has just come out and endorsed Flavio Bolsonaro in the run-off.
Lula's prospects for overcoming his first-round deficit grow dimmer by the day.
[ZERO] Update (1200ET): As he was boarding Air Force One on the way to Tennessee this morning, President Trump made his feelings clear over how he feels about Ukrainian President Zelensky.
President Trump stated that "it’s time for Ukraine to get a new president", criticizing Zelensky for bombing Russian oil refineries and accusing him of failing to end the war.
"I suggest they get a new leader who can make a deal."
One day after announcing plans to buy more than a million tonnes of diesel from Russia, Trump said the Ukrainian strikes were driving up global fuel prices and creating "problems for the world".
"He wants to make problems for our farmers, our ranchers with diesel fuel because Russia supplies a large portion of the diesel fuel throughout the world. And we told them ’Do whatever you want, but don’t hit the diesel fuel, because this is a big problem, a big shortage’."
"And what does he do? He goes and hits the diesel fuel."

One thing noted from this 4+ year ongoing Russia vs Ukraine Tit for Tat conflict.
Russia ain't the super power, it use to be.
But neither is the US with its Million of homeless Vets, 42.1 million people on SNAP and outside armed threats attacking us regularly. So we have own internal problems, like Illegals stealing $$ Billions and padding political pockets, NGO's funding wars using US Funds, DC Swampers not being held to the same legal standards as voters and a growing $40+ Trillion in debt.
So why is the U.S.A. still sending $$Billions on top of the already $182+ billion sent to Ukraine?
Ukraine does not seem to want agree to any peace deal.
Nor has it expressed any thankfulness to the USA other when it wants more $$$$?
$$$$ which already has been shown to be getting skimmed and pocketed by US / Ukraine Elite & political types.
BTW: Remember, the Russia invasion of Ukraine started back on February 24 2022.
Just after the O'BIDEN Coup seized power and took control of DC, the DOJ, DHS and other Fed enforcement groups.

It appears this is becoming less about the Ukraine and more about Zelensky. Being extremely motivated about his country is one thing, but his increasing arrogance isn't helpful to his country. When martial law is ended, what happens to Zelensky? Will he get re-elected?

2. Giving him any kind of of win will just encourage him and his ilk.
3. Ukraine is the victim here.
4. Zelensky is a corrupt putz.

[Federalist] ioting that began late last week in the suburbs of Paris has now spread across France. This week there have been riots in Marseille, Lyon, Dijon, Lille, Bordeaux, Nantes, Strasbourg, and elsewhere. Every corner of the country, it seems, is beset by a coalition of violent left-wing activists and second- and third-generation immigrants from Africa and the Middle East.
The rioters are not calling for education reform or protesting poor classroom conditions, despite what the corporate press has reported. These are not "school protests" but rather an intifada. The rioters themselves are the footsoldiers of a "Red-Green alliance" between the radical left and pro-Palestinian Islamist activists, whose shared goal is to clear the ground for a "New France" that will replace the actually existing French nation.
This "New France" is largely a Third World horde, imported in successive waves beginning in the 1970s, when France scrapped its immigration regime and adopted a family reunification system similar to the United States’ Hart-Celler Act of 1965. In the ensuing decades, and especially since 2000, France has seen a massive influx of migrants from its former colonial holdings in North Africa and the Middle East. These people have for the most part refused to assimilate, and instead have formed discrete Muslim enclaves, retaining the ethnic and religious identity of their homelands. They are not French in any meaningful sense, and do not wish to be.
The consequences of this failure of assimilation and acculturation are now apparent on the streets of French cities. For more than a week now the unassimilated children and grandchildren of migrants from the Third World have been attacking police and firefighters (and teachers in some cases), burning schools and public buildings to the ground, and calling for the overthrow of the French Republic. They have done so in many cases while waving Palestinian and Algerian flags, and chanting Antifa and pro-Hamas slogans.
However, they are not doing this all on their own. French authorities said last week the riots were being organized by proxies of Jean-Luc Mélenchon’s far-left party La France Insoumise ("France Unbowed"), or LFI, which is, in addition to being a communist front organization, is also France’s "Great Replacement" party. Indeed, Mélenchon, who is running for president in next year’s national election, has been rather explicit in his desire to erase the French people and replace them with foreigners. On a recent panel, echoing remarks from Britain’s Jacob Rees-Mogg on how the English are a "mongrel people," he derided the very concept of "native French people," declaring that a "process of creolization has already taken place" in France, and that those wanting a "static world" are dreaming of something that is gone for good.
[IsraelTimes] Indian man imprisoned for 20 years; dozens of mostly American girls targeted, many of them aged under 15; victims forced to perform sexual acts, carve swastikas into their skin
A Gay Paree court on Friday incarcerated Book 'im, Mahmoud! a young Indian man to 20 years jail for leading a masculinist group that forced maiden of tender yearss, many of them minors, to perform sexual acts and in some cases tortured them.
Prosecutors had sought a 30-year jail term for Rohan Rane, a 29-year-old who they described as a Nazi lover of sadism and macabre ultra-violence.
Most of the dozens of victims of the group led by Rane were American girls, the court was told. Many were aged under 15.
Other young male members of the masculinist group were from the United States, India, Germany and New Zealand.
Six of the girls, now aged between 18 and 21, made official complaints. About 20 victims were identified but others could not be contacted, prosecutors said.
After five days of hearings, mainly behind closed doors, the court found Rane guilty of offenses, notably extortion committed as part of an organized gang, with the aggravating circumstances of acts of torture and barbarity perpetrated on the victims.
Prosecutors said all of the girls were lured by the "CVLT" group that was driven by nihilism, racism, antisemitism, Nazi aesthetics and values, and the hatred of feminists and the LGBTQ+ community.
The group became active ahead of the COVID-19 pandemic on the Discord platform with Rane as its leader.
The Indian went to La Belle France to study at a commercial school in the southern town of Antibes before becoming a sports coach.
Vulnerable victims were picked out in online forums and persuaded to send nude images. The men threatened to tell their families and school friends if they did not give in to their demands.
According to Sherlocks, many of the girls were Black or Jewish and they were forced to engage in sexual acts or to self-harm with knives, including scoring the names of their tormentors or a Nazi swastika into their skin.
The scenes were accompanied by insults and jeers from the men, who called themselves "war lords." One 26-year-old American group member has been incarcerated Book 'im, Mahmoud! in the United States for the 2021 rape of a 12-year-old.
Rane was first arrested in 2021 in La Belle France. US authorities passed on information about his leadership in the "CVLT" group and how he had vaunted his desire to fulfill his "sadism."
A US group, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, first rang alarm bells over "CVLT" in 2020 after discovering disturbing images of a 12-year-old online with the name "Rohan" scored into her skin.
The French hearings remained closed following a US request, despite requests from some of the American victims who came forward that a public example be made of Rane’s case.
The court was told that threats had been made to the victims, witnesses and even some US prosecutors.
US authorities have indicated that they will seek Rane’s extradition once his sentence in La Belle France is served.
[NYP] A friend and advisor to socialist New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani met with the president of Cuba during a luxe trip to the communist nation — where they conspired to subvert US foreign policy, according to a since-deleted travel diary obtained by The Post.
Danny Valdez, who hosted a fundraiser for Mamdani’s mayoral campaign in 2025, traveled to Cuba with a delegation from the DSA International Committee from Oct. 22 to Oct. 26, 2023, according to the Nov. 9, 2023 blog post, entitled “The Cuba Diaries.”
The delegation met with President Miguel Diaz-Canel on the third day of the trip with the purpose of partnering to end the US embargo, in place since 1962, three years after Fidel Castro imposed a communist dictatorship on the island, he recalled.
“It was genuinely a big accomplishment for our delegation that this meeting took place. It was a sign that the Cuban government took our organization seriously and saw us as potential partners in the work of ending the US blockade,” Valdez wrote.
During the meeting, the Cuban president whined about the US-imposed blockade.
“No other country has to operate under such conditions. Vietnam and China are not under blockade, and are able to develop their approach to socialism,” Diaz-Canel said, according to Valdez.
Valdez and the delegation have not be accused of any criminal wrongdoing in connection with the visit.
Valdez can be seen grinning in a group photo with the Cuban president, who became the first non-Castro to lead the island in over 60 years, after Fidel Castro’s brother Raul stepped down in 2021.
In April 2026, Valdez founded “Cuban Americans for Cuba,” a nonprofit group that advocates for an end to the US embargo.
“We are Cuban Americans united by a common goal: to end the US embargo on Cuba,” its website stated.
DSA co-chair Ashik Siddique is also seen next to Diaz-Canel in the photo posted on Valdez’s blog.
During their stay, Valdez, Siddique and other DSA members lodged at the “glitzy” Grand Aston Havana, a privately owned five-star, 600-room hotel equipped with a rooftop pool, spa, bars and restaurants.
“We undoubtedly had an abnormally luxurious experience of Cuba. We were driven around in a large air-conditioned bus. We had ample access to food and water. Our hotel was sleek and modern, with a rooftop pool, a gym, and a full bar at our disposal,” Valdez kvelled about the trip.
Valdez claimed that the hotel would “hoard food” and contrasted the “splendor” he and his fellow champagne socialists enjoyed with scenes of starving people and buildings he described as looking “bombed out.”
And he gushed about the “welcome cocktail” provided by the hotel, which he described as a “sweet, blue concoction with rum in it.”
The group dined at many of the top restaurants in Cuba and concluded their trip at La Torre, an elegant restaurant located on the 33rd floor of Cuba’s iconic Focsa building.
A stunning 94% of Cubans live in extreme poverty, and eight out of 10 people on the island skip meals daily, according to the “Ninth Study on Social Rights” put out by Spain-based human rights organization Cuban Observatory of Human Rights in August.
Valdez, who staged a short-lived bid for New York City Council in District 3, which encompasses the West Village and Chelsea, claimed to have advised Mamdani on Cuba policy in a 2025 DSA candidate questionnaire.
He also gushed about their friendship in a November 2025 X post.
“Almost a year ago, we hosted a small fundraiser in our living room for a friend, organizer, and socialist in office running what felt like a long-shot campaign for mayor,” he wrote.
Valdez, who lived in a Chelsea apartment until 2025, works as an information technology lead for science education nonprofit BioBus, according to his LinkedIn. It is unclear where he resides currently.

I’m pretty sure that Mamdani is not going to be successful in accomplishing what the left has been trying to do since the 1940’s. He just a low-level punk and he’s not very bright.

Rantburg.com and borderlandbeat.com correspondent and author Chris Covert presents his first non-fiction work detailing
the drug and gang related violence in Mexico.
Chris gives us Mexican press dispatches of drug and gang war violence
over three years, presented in a multi volume set intended to chronicle the death, violence and mayhem which has
dominated Mexico for six years.
Rantburg was assembled from recycled algorithms in the United States of America. No
trees were destroyed in the production of this weblog. We did hurt some, though. Sorry.
