[News With Views] As a baby boomer raised in a sheltered, church-going family, I loved the Beatles like every other teenager. I wore out my copy of Sgt. Pepper and sang "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds."
I had zero idea that "Lucy" stood for LSD, or that John Lennon was literally shouting out Timothy Leary’s name on the record Give Peace a Chance. [1] I didn’t know that Leary was an ex-Harvard professor pushing acid on everyone. I was also clueless about his CIA connection. Like millions of us, I believed the hippie thing just bubbled up as another form of teenage rebellion.
Then, a few months ago, I wrote a piece showing how the same Operation Paperclip that brought Demonic Nazi germ-warfare scientists to America also helped the CIA and Army spray bacteria like tularemia on U.S. cities to see how many people would get sick. [2] [3] While researching that nightmare, the next door flew open: the "peace and love" revolution that shaped my whole generation was quietly programmed by the exact same CIA crowd that imported the Nazis and tested germ warfare on American citizens. [4] [5]
OPERATION PAPERCLIP BROUGHT NAZI SCIENTISTS AND THEIR METHODS TO AMERICA
After World War II, the CIA and Army ran Operation Paperclip: they smuggled more than 1,600 Nazi scientists into America, including men who had injected the psychedelic drug mescaline into prisoners at Dachau, and others, like Dr. Kurt Blome and Dr. Erich Traub, who performed gruesome experiments on prisoners to develop biological weapons. [6] [7] Many of these inhumane scientists were Occultists.
At the same time, the U.S. quietly gave immunity to Japan’s Unit 731 monster, General Shiro Ishii and other senior Unit 731 personnel who conducted large-scale, lethal human experiments on Chinese civilians, POWs, and others. These included deliberate infection with plague, anthrax, cholera, typhoid, and other pathogens (often via contaminated food, water, or bombs), vivisection without anesthesia, frostbite and pressure-chamber tests, and organ harvesting. Multiple sources state that Ishii himself lectured or advised American officers at Fort Detrick on bioweapons after receiving immunity.[8][9] These evil war criminals ended up on the U.S. payroll at places like Fort Detrick, Maryland.
MKULTRA WAS THE CIA’S SECRET PROGRAM TO CONTROL MINDS WITH DRUGS
In 1953 the CIA launched MKUltra, a giant secret program to find ways to control people’s minds. The boss was Dr. Sidney Gottlieb, working directly under Allen Dulles, the same Dulles who signed the Paperclip papers. [10] They bought the entire world supply of LSD from the Swiss drug company (the only legal manufacturer back then) and started testing it on prisoners, soldiers, mental patients, unassuming citizens and even their own employees, almost always without telling them. [11]One of those victims was CIA scientist Frank Olson. In November 1953 Gottlieb slipped LSD into Olson’s drink at a cabin retreat. Olson freaked out, started talking about quitting and telling the truth. Nine days later he "fell" out of a 13th-floor hotel window in New York while a CIA man watched from the room.[12] Today we would say he was "Epsteined." The family wasn’t told about the LSD until 1975, when Congress finally exposed parts of MKUltra. [13]
CAPTAIN AL HUBBARD DELIVERED THE ACID FROM THE LABS TO THE STREETS
The man who carried the acid from the labs to the streets was ex-OSS (early CIA) operative Captain Al Hubbard, nicknamed "Captain Trips." Hubbard had top-secret clearances, flew his own plane, and procured thousands of doses of pure LSD years before anyone else. [14] [15] Starting in the mid-1950s he personally turned on famous psychiatrists, movie stars, and the founder of Alcoholics Anonymous. Most importantly, he flew to Boston several times between 1960 and 1963, handed giant stashes of LSD to Timothy Leary and Richard Alpert (later Ram Dass), and taught them how to use it. [16] Leary’s Harvard research was paid for through fake medical foundations that were CIA money laundries. [17]

Just read Nobelist Doris Lessing's 1987 "Prisons We Choose to Live Inside" for a short level-headed discussion of this problem which predates the Baby Boomers by at least 50 years.

[ZERO] You can blame the weather, the terrain, faulty intelligence, inadequate resources, or the incompetence of your subordinates. You can surround yourself with people who assure you the battle plan was brilliant and the enemy simply got lucky.
But the casualties remain. The territory is lost. And no amount of explaining changes the outcome.
Following the November 3 elections, retired Lieutenant General Michael Flynn, President Trump's former national security adviser, published an open letter urging the president to confront the political aftermath with something Washington has never been particularly good at: an honest assessment of its own failures.
Flynn invoked a military practice known as the After Action Review, or AAR. It's a disciplined examination of what was supposed to happen, what actually happened, why the two differed, and what must change before the next mission.
It is not designed to preserve anyone's feelings. It is designed to prevent the same mistakes from happening twice.
Imagine applying that standard to Washington.
Imagine the president, his cabinet, congressional leadership, and political advisers sitting around a table without cameras, publicists, or carefully rehearsed talking points. No one gets to blame the media. No one gets to hide behind party affiliation. No one gets to confuse good intentions with measurable results.
Instead, everyone must answer four uncomfortable questions.

Congress also has its own set of "Congressional obligations" which it hasn't been interested in meeting for well over the last 50 years. This was never mentioned during the last campaign season. Congress is not even a poor excuse for a proper legislative body.
