Fox News: Pentagon prepares bases for 90 days of autonomous operation in case of war, pondering Iran’s short term future
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited
So both Antifa and China should give up all the clever plans that they’ve been working on for conquering America — their guns are already spiked. Russia is already out of the running.
[Regnum] The Pentagon is preparing American bases across the country to be able to operate autonomously for at least 90 days without external support in the event of a major conflict. This was reported by Fox News.

It is noted that the Pentagon's FORTRESS America program assumes that every major military facility on the continental United States will be able to operate without external access to electricity, water, fuel, and communications.

"We don't want to depend on ordinary civilian municipal infrastructure for our national defense. We simply can't do that. It's an unacceptable risk," said Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell.

The main problem is the military's dependence on civilian power grids, which provide everything from communications and logistics to weapons production.

The project involves the use of portable nuclear reactors, large battery systems, and microgrids that could disconnect military installations from civilian power grids, the publication states.

The Pentagon also believes it is necessary to create strategic reserves of ammunition, fuel, critical minerals, spare parts, and medical supplies in case of disruption of international supply chains.

"If a new global conflict were to occur, it would likely unfold on multiple fronts. Looking at the geopolitical aspects underlying any large-scale war, one can expect global supply chains to be subject to significant disruptions," Parnell warned.

A top Pentagon aide described the FORTRESS America program as an "insurance policy" for the United States, ensuring that the U.S. military's operations are not compromised even if a major war damages critical infrastructure and disrupts supply chains.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump announced that the US military budget for fiscal year 2027 should be $1.5 trillion. He explained this decision by citing the need to ensure security in "extremely troubling and dangerous times."

Fifth Column
The DSA Plans To Incite Nationwide Violence Ahead Of 2028 Election
[Federalist] Over on X, DataRepublican’s reporting on documents and recordings from the Democratic Socialists of America and allied networks lays out a calculated strategy for the run-up to the 2028 elections. The goal is sustained mass violence and street clashes designed to push President Donald Trump into invoking the Insurrection Act. Once invoked, Democratic governors and progressive organizations would treat the order itself as evidence of "fascism" and a reason to undermine federal authority.

Groups including the United Democracy Alliance, invoking Erica Chenoweth’s 3.5 percent rule, appear ready to coordinate the street actions, legal support, and media framing. Neville Roy Singham, operating from Shanghai and connected to the Chinese Communist Party’s United Front Work Department, is positioned to amplify the disruption from abroad.

The plan assumes Trump will choose immediate order over patience, and hand his opponents the optics they have prepared. Whether that assumption holds depends on the costs of each path.
President Trump can quietly do many things without making a big public fuss, taking away their optics.
Policing power in America is overwhelmingly local. The FBI fields about 13,700 special agents nationwide. The New York Police Department alone has more than 34,700 sworn officers. A president can protect federal property, personnel, and functions without becoming the default response for every city whose leaders have weakened policing and tolerated disorder. Broader federal action is also available. Both options carry consequences, and progressive networks are organized to contest either one.

Israel drills for surprise attack with massive military exercise as expert invokes 1973 war
[FOX] The Israeli military launched large-scale domestic military exercises on Sunday to counter surprise border infiltrations and ground raids across northern and central Israel, mobilizing multiple divisions and air assets amid rising regional tensions.

The drills, set to continue over 48 hours, came as an Israeli security expert invoked the 1973 Yom Kippur War, when Egypt and Syria used exercises to disguise preparations for a surprise attack, warning that escalating tensions in the region could in fact trigger what he described as a "dangerous miscalculation."

The large-scale maneuvers, the IDF said, involve the Northern Command’s 210th Division, the West Bank Division, and the Central Command’s 98th and 96th divisions, alongside the Israeli Air Force.

The exercise, scheduled just ahead of Israel's elections Oct. 27, aims to "maintain the forces’ alertness and readiness, strengthen the ability to defend communities, and make full use of aerial capabilities for defense in the area," according to the IDF.

On Friday, the IDF said troops would practice "a variety of scenarios, including a surprise attack and infiltration into Israeli territory by air and land," incorporating lessons learned from the Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas-led attacks on Israel.

"This exercise is mostly about non-state actors with or without Iranian support," Israeli national security analyst Dr. Ehud Eilam told Fox News Digital.

"It's aimed at those in Syria, Lebanon, and Jordan who might try to infiltrate into Israel or send ground raids. Some are supported by Iran; others are not. It could be planned by Iran or be a local initiative."

"This is a massive exercise, the biggest one in recent years, aimed at protecting the borders," the former Israeli Ministry of Defense researcher added.

"It's all about making sure that the election day on October 27 will run smoothly. It's also a message to Iran and others: don't try to provoke us during election day, so nothing will be disrupted."

The Israeli drills followed a show of force by Tehran days earlier, during which the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) fired roughly 30 ballistic missiles across two distinct weapon classes, according to reports.

That live-fire display highlighted Iranian strike capabilities and sparked renewed alerts about commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz and prompted the Israeli military to heighten its alert level while maintaining maximum readiness for a targeted strike against Iran.

French lawmakers propose tagging rioters with invisible markers to track them down later
[Cybernews] The French Senate has proposed allowing police to use coded liquid markers to track down suspects weeks after disruptive demonstrations.

French lawmakers are proposing 30 recommendations following days of student protests demanding better school conditions that erupted into violent riots and looting on October 17th, 2026.

Recommendation 28.3 includes the use of coded liquid markers to "facilitate arrests at a later time."

Coded liquid markers are small devices used to apply a liquid tag to skin and clothing, which is invisible to the naked eye.

Southeast Asia
How purchases of sanctioned Iranian jet fuel were disguised by Myanmar
[Jpost] Reef carried sanctioned jet fuel from Iran to Myanmar, according to records of fuel shipments to Myanmar, as well as satellite images and analysis by SynMax Intelligence.

In December 2025, the US-sanctioned tanker Reef arrived in Myanmar waters with some 113,000 barrels of fuel backed by sham paperwork.

Myanmar-based energy broker Dynamic Wave ordered the shipment, agreeing in a sales contract inked with Thailand’s Tawan-Oil Trading to supposedly take delivery of a similar amount of South African diesel. But the $15.8 million agreement, which Rooters viewed, was a charade: there was no such trade between South Africa and Myanmar in 2025, according to data from the United Nations
...where theory meets practice and practice loses...
and Vortexa, a shipping and energy data provider.

In reality, Reef carried jet fuel from Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
to Myanmar, according to records of fuel shipments to Myanmar, as well as satellite images and analysis by SynMax Intelligence, which tracked the tanker’s journey from the Iranian port of Bandar Abbas to Southeast Asia.

The deception was needed because the US in 2023 imposed targeted sanctions on Myanmar’s jet-fuel industry. The US did so citing the deadly bombing campaign waged by the Southeast Asian country’s military on civilian targets as part of an effort to crush a rebel-led insurgency. All purchasers of Iranian oil and fuel are also exposed to sweeping American sanctions.

Details of how Myanmar disguised purchases of Iranian jet fuel, as well as the entities involved in the transactions, are reported here for the first time.

Myanmar’s military junta was involved in the ruse. Days before Reef arrived, Myanmar’s foreign exchange regulator told the client of Dynamic Wave that it would issue import documentation that labeled the delivery as diesel "instead of jet fuel," according to a copy of the agency’s November 30 letter seen by Rooters. The document, which was provided to Rooters by the activist group Justice for Myanmar, did not explain the purpose of the mislabeling.

The letter from the regulator also authorized Dynamic Wave and its client, National Energy Prime Aviation Services Company, to pay Tawan for the shipment.

Neither Dynamic Wave nor its client, which is part-owned by Myanmar’s military-backed government, responded to questions about the fuel shipment.

Spokespeople for Myanmar’s military-backed government and foreign exchange regulator, as well as the Iranian foreign ministry, also did not return requests for comment.

Tehran was the Myanmar military’s primary supplier of jet fuel between October 2024 and December 2025, with much of the trade carried out by the tankers Reef — since renamed Maris — and Noble, a Rooters report revealed in January.

The scheme uncovered by Rooters underscores both the reach and limits of Washington’s power. The lengths taken to disguise the trade suggest US sanctions are biting. But Iranian jet fuel has continued to flow, earning Tehran valuable foreign currency and providing Myanmar with the means to conduct both commercial aviation and air raids.

The US Treasury did not respond to questions about jet-fuel shipments between Iran and Myanmar.

JET FUEL, AIRSTRIKES, AND CIVILIAN CASUALTIES
Myanmar’s generals seized power in 2021 from the democratically elected government of Aung San Suu Kyi. The coup sparked a civil war, during which the military has killed thousands — including many civilians — in aerial assaults, the United Nations said in August.

Myanmar’s foreign ministry said in response to the UN allegations that the military "exercises maximum restraint to avoid civilian harm."

Justice for Myanmar, which also shared the fuel sales contract with Rooters, published a report on Monday concluding that Myanmar’s junta was importing jet fuel mislabeled as diesel.

The organization, which supports further sanctions on Myanmar's jet fuel imports, said it obtained the documents from a junta-run server that was briefly publicly accessible.

Rooters found a dead link to one of the documents on the DuckDuckGo search engine, indicating it had once been hosted on that server. Delivery dates and fuel quantities in the documents also match Iranian jet fuel shipment records that were separately reviewed by the news agency.

THAI BANK CONNECTION
The sales contract for Dynamic Wave's fuel shipment stipulated that the payment be transferred into Tawan’s account at Siam Commercial Bank (SCB), Thailand’s oldest bank.

Tawan was identified by UN experts in a 2024 report as a jet-fuel supplier to Myanmar’s military. The firm has not commented on those allegations.

SCB was described as a major controller of Myanmar military procurement in that report.

The bank said after the report’s release that it adheres to anti-money-laundering laws and that its Myanmar-related transactions were legitimate and not connected to the arms trade.

Rooters could not determine whether SCB was aware of the nature of Tawan’s business.

Thai regulators in 2024 ordered banks to closely scrutinize transactions involving Myanmar in order to comply with sanctions and anti-money-laundering laws.

SCB did not respond to repeated requests for comment about its commercial relationship with Tawan.

Tawan and the Bank of Thailand, which supervises the kingdom's financial industry, also did not respond to questions.

The December shipment was not the first time jet fuel arrived in Myanmar disguised as diesel.

Dynamic Wave in May 2025 agreed to buy from Tawan 202,000 barrels of what a second contract, also obtained from the junta server, described as South African diesel. The agreement stipulated that the diesel should arrive at Yangon within a month and that Dynamic Wave would pay $26 million into Tawan’s SCB account.

The invoice for that contract contained discrepancies suggesting the tanker actually contained jet fuel.

The density of the fuel listed in the document matched the specifications for jet fuel rather than diesel sold in Southeast Asia, according to Joshua Heyne, a jet-fuel expert at Washington State University, and data from Platts, the energy-industry information provider. In addition, the price of the fuel was more than 50% higher than a global diesel benchmark.

Noble called at Yangon on June 17 carrying just under 200,000 barrels of jet fuel earmarked for Dynamic Wave, shipment records show.

Like Reef's December shipment, Noble’s cargo was loaded at Iran’s Bandar Abbas according to SynMax’s analysis of satellite imagery. As it made its way to Myanmar’s commercial capital, Noble transmitted location signals that made it appear as though its destination was the port of Chittagong in Bangladesh, according to SynMax.

The manager of the Reef and Noble tankers did not respond to questions sent via its listed website.

Shipments of jet fuel between Iran and Myanmar have continued this year, Rooters reported in October, citing SynMax analysis and satellite imagery.

Saudi Arabia to store oil in Singapore to bolster Asia supply security
[Reuters] Saudi Arabia plans to store crude oil at Singapore's Jurong Rock Caverns ‌from the second half of 2027 to strengthen supply security in the region, energy ministers from both countries said on Monday.

The move comes after the US-Israeli war with Iran severely disrupted energy supplies to Asia shipped through the Strait of Hormuz, prompting countries to draw down inventories and raising concerns about stockpile levels globally. Asia imported two-thirds of its oil supplies from the Middle East before the war.

"Saudi Arabia and Singapore are announcing our joint intent to establish an arrangement for Saudi crude oil to be stored at the Jurong Rock Caverns from the second half of 2027," Tan See Leng, minister for energy, trade and industry, told the Singapore International Energy Week conference.

"This arrangement enhances the resilience of the Saudi crude oil supply chain in Southeast Asia, as well as contributes to Singapore's energy security and resilience in the event of supply disruptions."

Tan said Saudi Aramco will sign a memorandum of understanding with the Energy Market Authority and JTC Corp on Monday and aimed to conclude negotiations in a few months' time.

"Bringing supply closer to key Asian markets would strengthen the flexibility of our supply network and support Singapore's security of supply and preparedness," Saudi Arabia's Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin ‌Salman Al-Saud said in a video recording at the conference.

Located at a depth of 150 metres (492 feet) below the ground, the rock caverns at Jurong Island can store up to 1.47 million cubic metres, or roughly 9 million barrels of liquid hydrocarbons such as crude oil and condensate.

Saudi Aramco currently stores crude in Japan and South Korea where local governments have priority to buy the supplies in the tanks in the event of an unexpected shortage.

The crude storage capacity in Okinawa was expanded to 8.2 million barrels in September 2017 in an agreement with Japan Oil, Gas and Metals National Corp (JOGMEC), Aramco Japan said on its website.

In 2023, Aramco inked a deal with Korea National Oil Corp to store 5.3 million barrels of oil in South Korea's reserve facilities in the port of Ulsan for five years.

Elsewhere, Japan is in talks with Asian countries to boost crude reserves across the region, part of the Partnership in Wide Energy and Resources Resilience Asia (POWERR Asia) initiative proposed earlier this year by Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi backed by $10 billion in financial support.

While China, Japan and South Korea have built large oil stockpiles, most other Asian countries have less of a buffer in the event of supply shocks.

Trump says he's choosing between a deal with Iran and its destruction
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited
[Regnum] On October 25, US President Donald Trump announced that he was choosing between making a deal with Iran and ending the country's ties with it forever.

"I have a choice to make. End him, which will be very simple, or make a deal," Trump said in an interview with Fox News.

The American president also stated that oil prices would begin to decline immediately after the end of the Iranian conflict.

On February 28, the United States and Israel launched a massive military operation against Iran, striking targets across the country. The Islamic Republic responded with missile strikes against Israel and American bases in the Middle East and closed the Strait of Hormuz to unfriendly states. A new escalation in the Middle East began after the United States resumed military operations against Iran on July 10.

On September 19, Iran submitted its terms for ending the military conflict to the United States. The following day, Trump declared that the American administration was launching an unprecedented "economic war and isolation" against Iran. In response, Tehran threatened retaliatory measures against neighboring countries if they joined the US sanctions against Iran. On September 30, Trump stated that the United States would soon decide whether to resume strikes against Iran or seek an agreement with Tehran.

Iran has demanded sanctions compensation from the US for the first time in 48 years
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited
[Regnum] For the first time since the founding of the Islamic Republic, Iran has secured compensation from the United States for sanctions affecting patients with epidermolysis bullosa.
It’s apparently an uncomfortable skin condition, in the vernacular called butterfly skin. A quick internet search at midnight Eastern Time revealed absolutely nothing about this, so either something will be revealed in the morning or this is yet another imaginary Iranian victory.
This was announced on October 25 by Hamid Hashemi Golpayegani, Director General of EB House (an NGO for children with epidermolysis bullosa).

"The court ordered the US government and officials to pay $6.785 billion in compensatory, exemplary, and punitive damages to the plaintiffs," the agency quoted Golpayegani as saying.Fars.
Which court? Is it one whose rulings we respect?
EB House initiated legal proceedings in 2018–2019 over restrictions on the supply of specialized dressings for patients. In 2021–2022, the patients' families filed suit. Security forces, including units of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and the army, participated in the case.

As part of the investigation, the oil cargo was seized to collect compensation for damages and distribute the funds among the victims.

On September 19, Iran submitted its terms for ending the military conflict to the United States. The following day, White House President Donald Trump declared that the American administration was launching an unprecedented "economic war and isolation" against Iran.

In response, Tehran threatened sanctions against neighboring countries if they joined US sanctions against Iran. On September 30, Trump announced that the US would soon decide whether to resume strikes against Iran or seek an agreement with Tehran.

#3  epidermolysis bullosa

Epidermolysis bullosa (ep-ih-dur-MOL-uh-sis buhl-LOE-sah) is a rare condition that causes fragile, blistering skin. The blisters may appear in response to minor injury, even from heat, rubbing or scratching. In severe cases, the blisters may occur inside the body, such as the lining of the mouth or stomach.

Epidermolysis bullosa is inherited, and it usually shows up in infants or young children. Some people don't develop symptoms until they're teens or young adults.

Epidermolysis bullosa has no cure, but mild forms may improve with age. Treatment focuses on caring for blisters and preventing new ones.

Causes
Epidermolysis bullosa is caused by an inherited gene. You may inherit the disease gene from one parent who has the disease (autosomal dominant inheritance) or from both parents (autosomal recessive inheritance).

The skin is made up of an outer layer (epidermis) and an underlying layer (dermis). The area where the layers meet is called the basement membrane. The types of epidermolysis bullosa are mainly defined by which layers separate and form blisters. The skin injury might be brought on by a minor injury, bump or nothing at all.

The Islamic Republic spent decades calling the Shah a “Zionist puppet” and Israel “a danger to humanity.” At the same time, Khomeini’s regime was quietly buying Israeli weapons.

During the Iran-Iraq war, Begin’s (Israeli PM) government sold the Islamic Republic roughly $500 million in arms between 1981 and 1983, according to Tel Aviv University’s Jaffe Institute. Spare parts, ammunition, and other equipment that kept Khomeini’s forces fighting. The same regime that turned the Israeli embassy over to the PLO and made “Death to Israel” a slogan was depending on Israeli arms to survive.
The Mullahs used those arms to fight Saddam Hussein’s Iraq to a standstill, keeping both too busy to turn their attention to Israel, and creating a significant drain on Iranian coffers that directly benefitted Israel. Later Israel put other plans into action.
The Shah’s alliance with Israel was open, public, and mutually useful. The mullahs’ dealings were secret, opportunistic, and pure self-interest. They needed the weapons, so they took them, then went right back to the propaganda.

That is the pattern. The rhetoric is for the crowds. The deals are for the regime’s survival. This is why the regime is without friends now, only proxies that depend on it.

Approximately 40 percent of Iranian prisoners linked to drug-related crimes: Narcotics official
[Rudaw] Drug-related crimes account for a substantial proportion of Iran's prison population, with approximately 40 percent of prisoners directly or indirectly linked to such offenses, the secretary-general of the country's Drug Control Headquarters said Sunday, highlighting a growing narcotics problem affecting both Iran and neighboring Iraq.

Hossein Zolfaghari, who is also a representative of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, cited preliminary findings from a study on addiction prevalence showing a relatively upward trend in the indicators examined. He made the remarks during the 105th meeting of the headquarters' National Committee for Cultural Affairs and Prevention, according to the state-run Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).

The study, conducted after a gap of approximately 11 years, found a relatively increasing trend across the indicators examined. Zolfaghari said the final results would be provided to officials and experts upon completion, allowing decisions on combating narcotics to be "based on a more accurate understanding of the current situation."

Zolfaghari said authorities could review certain criminal offenses and long-term social restrictions, but that the large number of offenses and laws made them difficult to manage and enforce.

"On the other hand, the continuation of certain social restrictions on individuals who have committed crimes in the past may create conditions that lead them back into the cycle of violations and criminal activity," he said, urging expert-led measures to reduce social harm.

Zolfaghari criticized the "fragmented nature of decision-making," questioning whether preventive programs and decisions by various institutions had produced "tangible and measurable results."

Iran has redirected its liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) exports from Pakistan to Afghanistan

Translated Text:

Iran has redirected its liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) exports from Pakistan to Afghanistan, from where the shipments are later transported to China.

The Iranian billionaire Babak Zanjani stated that his company will no longer sell liquefied petroleum gas at low prices to Pakistan, even if the borders are reopened.

He also indicated that the price of a cooking gas cylinder (weighing 12 kilograms) will rise to reach 10,000 Pakistani rupees (equivalent to 36 dollars).

The Islamic Republic is extremely lenient with its neighbors and has licensed them to take the precious resource.. But some neighbors are promise-breakers..
