US Supreme Court Declines Appeal in Disputed Afghan Girl Adoption Case
[KhaamaPress] The US Supreme Court on Monday declined to hear an appeal by Afghan relatives seeking to challenge the adoption of a seven-year-old girl whose parents were killed during a US military raid in Afghanistan in 2019.

The decision leaves in place a ruling by Virginia’s highest court that favored Joshua Mast, a US Marine Corps officer and military lawyer, and his wife, who adopted the child. The Afghan relatives had asked the Supreme Court to review the case after years of legal disputes over the girl’s custody.

The girl’s parents were killed in September 2019 during a raid by US Army Rangers and Afghan forces on a rural compound. The infant was found among the rubble and taken to Bagram Air Base near Kabul for medical treatment, according to the News Agency that Dare Not be Named.

Mast and his wife later decided to adopt the child. However,
corruption finds a dozen alibis for its evil deeds...
during US President Donald Trump
...The cad! Twice caught beating wimmin!...
’s first administration, the State Department worked with the Afghan government to locate her surviving relatives. The relatives were identified as a cousin and his wife, who took the girl into their care and raised her for about 18 months.

While the child was living with the Afghan couple, Mast and his wife obtained a final adoption order from a Virginia court without notifying the relatives, according to AP reporting.

In 2021, as the United States withdrew its forces from Afghanistan, Mast helped the Afghan family leave the country. After they arrived in the United States, he took custody of the girl from a refugee resettlement centre despite the relatives’ objections.

The Afghan couple subsequently challenged the adoption in court, arguing that the process had been legally flawed. Virginia’s lower courts ruled in their favour, but the state’s Supreme Court later sided with the Masts, citing a state law that generally sets a six-month deadline for challenging a final adoption order.

The Afghan relatives then appealed to the US Supreme Court. Their effort received support from a former US ambassador to Afghanistan and organizations representing military veterans and people involved in international adoptions, AP reported.

The Masts have said they acted to protect the child and provide her with a stable home. They have also disputed the Afghan couple’s claimed family relationship with the girl and argued that reopening the case after years in their care would disrupt her life.

The Supreme Court’s refusal to hear the appeal does not constitute a new ruling on the underlying facts of the adoption. It leaves the Virginia Supreme Court’s decision in place, ending this avenue of appeal for the Afghan relatives.

Arabia
Tehran's 'Papa': Mysterious Iranian General Leads Houthis to Victory
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited
by Leonid Tsukanov

[Regnum] Against the backdrop of the Houthi (Ansar Allah) offensive against central government forces in Yemen, foreign sponsors of Rishad Mohammed al-Alimi's cabinet began racing to find someone to blame for the strategic failure. And they quickly found someone to blame.

The blame for the Houthis' "unprecedented successes" was placed on Abdolreza Shahlai, a general in Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and one of the most enigmatic and simultaneously recognizable Iranian security officials. However, the official identification of the "culprit" had little impact on the balance of power in Yemen or the course of the fighting.

20 YEARS OF WAR
Despite his aura of mystery, Abdolreza Shahlai was well known to Tehran's adversaries in the Middle East long before 2026. Over the past two decades, he operated under various operational aliases— Hajji Yasser, Haji Yousef, and Yousef Abu al-Karkh —overseeing the most flamboyant and complex foreign operations.

For example, in 2006–2007, he helped Iraqi Shiites create a flexible military structure from disparate militias, which subsequently dealt the Americans a number of painful blows, including during the clashes near Karbala in January 2007. Over time, these units grew into a fully-fledged military structure, known as the Popular Mobilization Forces (Hashd al-Shaabi), and became an important part of the Iraqi security forces. This forced the United States to consider the factor of Shiite resistance and influence in subsequent attempts to turn Iraq against Tehran.

Furthermore, according to the US Treasury Department, in 2011, Shahlai may have been involved in a plot to assassinate Saudi Ambassador to the US Adel al-Jubeir (who was then trying to persuade Washington to toughen its policy toward Tehran). According to US documents, his relative, Mansour Arbabsiar, was used to carry out the plan, attempting to recruit the perpetrators. Although the assassination plot ultimately failed, Saudi courtiers for a long time hesitated to weave intrigues even under the wing of the White House.

Over the course of a decade and a half, Shahlai made a dazzling career in the IRGC's special forces, eventually matching the legendary Quds Force commander Qasem Soleimani, whose protégé he was. However, unlike his mentor, Shahlai preferred to always operate from the shadows. Therefore, after Soleimani's death in 2020, he declined to take over as head of the force, handing it over to another associate, General Ismail Qaani.

IT WAS NOT POSSIBLE TO FOLLOW THE TRAIL
However, Shahlai truly became famous among his enemies thanks to his oversight of Yemen's Houthi rebel movement. It was with his support that the movement learned to fight a numerically and technologically superior enemy, mastered advanced military technology, and developed the skills to conduct large-scale military operations. Shahlai's contribution to the movement's development is eloquently demonstrated by the nicknames he has been given in Yemen on both sides of the front—the Pope of the Houthis, Shaitan Saada, and Soleimani Sana'a.

It is not known for certain when exactly Shahlai began overseeing the activities of the Ansar Allah movement. The Israelis and Saudis insist that the Iranian general accompanied the Houthis almost from the very beginning, including allegedly recruiting the movement's key ideologist, Hussein al-Badr al-Houthi, while he was still a member of the Yemeni parliament (that is, between 1993 and 1997). However, this is likely an exaggeration.

Moreover, even the Americans, who have amassed the most detailed archive on their opponent, claim that until the first half of the 2010s, Shahlai's "area of responsibility" included Iraq and part of Syria. It's far more likely that his shift to Yemen occurred closer to 2015, when Iranian authorities helped the Houthis stabilize their system of governance after successfully capturing the capital, Sana'a, and prepare the rebel forces for a protracted war with the pan-Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia.

Subsequently, the Saudi crown repeatedly offered exorbitant rewards to local field commanders and defectors for any information leading to the capture or neutralization of the Houthi leader (according to some reports, the "rewards" reached $1.5 billion), but they were never able to track down Shahlai. American intelligence agencies, who attempted to assassinate the Houthi leader along with Soleimani in 2020, were also unsuccessful.

It got to the point where foreign intelligence agencies began arguing among themselves in their attempts to compile an accurate profile of Shakhlai—their intelligence didn't even match up when it came to identifying features, let alone potential routes and personal connections.

Soleimani's student remained elusive.

PRIMORSKY ONSLAUGHT
Shahlai, apparently, also had a hand in the events of the autumn of 2026, when the Houthis not only repelled the government forces' offensive (one of the largest in the history of the conflict), but were also able to seize vast territories in response, including the entire western coast of Yemen, and establish formal control over the Bab el-Mandeb Strait.

Saudi and Yemeni officials, prudently preferring to speak anonymously, vie with each other to claim that the renowned general arrived in Sana'a at the height of the fighting, when the enemy's advanced units were already a decisive dash from the capital, and assumed overall command of the defense. Shahlai's military stratagem subsequently brought pro-Saudi forces in Yemen to the brink of losing their legitimacy, forcing Riyadh to plead with Ansar Allah and Tehran to open a negotiating window.

Be that as it may, there is no official confirmation of these rumors. Tehran doesn't overly emphasize its contribution to the rise of Ansar Allah, attributing the Houthis' strategic successes to their "fight for a just cause." However, Persian officials, smiling slyly at their counterparts, never miss an opportunity to taunt them.

This includes hinting that Shahlai is not a rare commodity, and that the IRGC still has plenty of generals capable of ruining the enemy's "great game" in the Middle East. Especially if it could harm Tehran's strategic interests or those of its close partners.

Field sources report the outbreak of a sharp dispute between Amjad Khaled
…a former commander of Yemen’s Transport Brigade, aligned with Yemen’s Islah Party, the political party of Yemen’s branch of the Muslim Brotherhood…
and the Houthi leader known as "Abu Ishaq al-Marwani," stemming from phone calls that Khaled received from figures in Taiz Governorate with whom he has kinship ties and personal relationships, urging him not to assist the Houthis in their battles against the city of Taiz.

The sources stated that al-Marwani, who serves as an assistant to the Houthi leader (Abu Nasr al-Sha'af), summoned Amjad Khaled after learning of the calls, confronting him about their content and the reasons for not informing the group's leadership about them.

The sources added that al-Marwani accused Khaled of working on behalf of Saudi Arabia and the legitimate government, and began issuing warnings against him, in addition to hinting at submitting a report about him to the group's leader, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi; according to the same field sources.

A continuous debate persists regarding Amjad Khaled's contributions alongside the group in its battles in Taiz over the past weeks.

Houthis are racing against time to transform military gains into permanent security, administrative, and economic authority

🚨 Are the Houthis repeating the Sana'a scenario in the rural areas of Taiz?

🔴 Accelerated Houthi movements to consolidate control over areas in the Taiz countryside, despite ongoing battles!

⭕ Reports of transferring police forces and vehicles from other provinces, measures to restart institutions, provide fuel, and replace the currency, alongside attempts to summon personnel from security agencies.

🔎 Hoopoe reading: It seems the Houthis are racing against time to transform military gains into permanent security, administrative, and economic authority, similar to what they did in Sana'a.

❓ But will the people of the Taiz countryside accept a repeat of the Sana'a experience, or will rejection of the new authority make military control harder to establish than to maintain?

Australian politician targeted in car ramming attack was friend of suspect's family
[Jpost] Meanwhile, an ABC News investigation revealed that Nugent had previously shared pro-Gaza content and criticized Israel on social media, but it is unclear if this motivated his attack on Haines.

Rod Nugent, the father of 43-year-old Brenden Nugent, and Rod's partner, Christine Cunningham, have been "family friends" with Australian politician Helen Haines "for more than 20 years," they told the press on Tuesday.

Brenden Nugent is suspected of deliberately targeting Haines in a car ramming attack outside her office on Monday.

Rod Nugent and Cunningham added that they will be "assisting Victoria Police in any way we can."

Brenden Nugent has been arrested and charged with dangerous driving causing serious injury, intentionally causing serious injury, and the Commonwealth offense of causing harm to a Commonwealth public official, BBC News reported.

He is due to appear in Wangaratta Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, BBC added.

Haines was taken to hospital and underwent surgery overnight between Monday and Tuesday. She is reported to have lost one of her legs, with doctors working to save the other, unidentified sources told Australian media.

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese told the public broadcaster, Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC News), that "It's clear that there was a deliberate act here. This wasn't an accident; someone was just skidding off the road."

Haines is in a "critical but stable" condition, Albanese told ABC News.

Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke told ABC News that witnesses said the alleged attacker reversed the vehicle and struck Haines a second time before a bystander intervened.

An investigation by ABC's fact-checking unit found that he had also shared fundraising campaigns for Gaza. He was also active for years in environmental causes, particularly campaigns opposing deforestation.

the investigation also found that Nugent had previously praised Haines for her climate positions.

According to ABC News, Sherlocks found the direct comments Nugent made to Haines contained no expressions of anger or malice toward her.

Nugent was held in jug overnight and questioned on Tuesday morning.

ABC News reported that he was known to police and had undergone a mental health assessment. Counterterrorism officials were also participating in the investigation, although the motive remained unclear.

At this stage, there is no basis to conclude that Nugent's posts concerning Israel and Gaza motivated the attack on Haines.

Financier Elkhederi: In 5 years, the Strait of Hormuz will no longer be critically important
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited
[Regnum] In the next five years, the Strait of Hormuz will cease to be critical to the global economy.
That is President Trump’s objective, yes.
This was stated on October 20 by French financier and head of HSBC Group Georges Elkhederi, speaking at the HSBC Future Forum in Dubai.

According to the expert, the blockade of the strait is forcing Gulf countries to invest in developing alternative energy export routes.

"Yes, we see that the Middle East region is capable of recovering and continuing to grow. Yes, this will require significant investment. Of course, we hope for a resolution to the conflict. But the Strait of Hormuz may likely become obsolete in five years," Elkhederi noted.

The head of HSBC Group also clarified that countries in the Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey are currently proposing similar projects totaling over $872 billion. The total cost of all planned infrastructure projects in the region could reach $1.4 trillion.

The Strait of Hormuz is a vital corridor for oil exports from the Persian Gulf countries (Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, etc.) to Asian markets. It used to handle approximately 15–20% of the world's oil, but following the US and Israeli strikes on Iran on February 28, the strait was blocked to hostile states.

On September 25, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced that Tehran had submitted a plan to Washington via Doha to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. He noted that if the necessary conditions were met, the strait could be reopened and normal shipping could be restored within seven days. However, US President Donald Trump rejected Iran's proposal. He also informed his aides that he expected to resume strikes against the Islamic Republic after the US midterm elections in November.

Le Pen Gains as France Riots Fuel Immigration Debate
[NewMax] French nationalist leader Marine Le Pen could emerge as the biggest political beneficiary of violent riots sweeping France, as a new survey shows nearly half of the country's Muslims would consider leaving if she wins the presidency in 2027.

An IFOP survey published by French weekly Marianne found that 46% of Muslim respondents would contemplate emigrating if Le Pen, leader of the National Rally party, becomes president, The Organizer reported.

France has an estimated 7 million Muslims, and Le Pen has campaigned on sharply reducing immigration, strengthening border security, and enforcing the country's secularism laws.

An IFOP survey published by French weekly Marianne found that 46% of Muslim respondents would contemplate emigrating if Le Pen, leader of the National Rally party, becomes president, The Organizer reported.
The findings come as France struggles with widespread rioting, arson, and looting that have exposed President Emmanuel Macron's inability to restore order and strengthened Le Pen's law-and-order message.

Some protesters have waved Palestinian flags, while rioters have torched historic buildings, attacked civilians, and looted businesses, according to the Washington Examiner.

Le Pen, already leading presidential preference polls with approximately 34% support, has blamed the violence on what she calls "Macronist toxic policies" and accused far-left leader Jean-Luc Melenchon's allies of "legitimizing violence."

She urged French citizens to "hold out for a few more months," promising to end "decades of anarchic immigration."

Tsiporah Fried, a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute, told the Washington Examiner that the unrest could significantly strengthen Le Pen's presidential prospects.

"I would say that she is seizing the moment because everything else will be forgotten [...] because this question of order becomes the priority," Fried said.

Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu announced mandatory curfews Monday in affected areas, pledging that the government was "absolutely determined to restore order."

‘You Break it, You Pay!': Meloni Enacts Emergency Decree Against Multicultural Youth Riots
It all sounds good, and long overdue.
[Breitbart] In a swift response to an outbreak of French-style youth unrest in Milan, Giorgia Meloni’s government has approved a decree empowering police and prosecutors to pursue rioters, including those under 18.

Following an emergency meeting of the Council of Ministers in Rome on Tuesday, Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni announced a raft of new policing and judicial powers to confront the multicultural movement, which saw hundreds detained, looting, arson, and attacks on police in central Milan on Saturday and Sunday.

Prime Minister Meloni said that while her government was already planning to introduce legislation targeting youth hoodlums, the new “decree on juvenile security and crime” will allow the measures to be implemented immediately, Italian public wire service ANSA reported.

“We have all seen the images of the violence that shocked Milan and other Italian cities over the weekend: shops looted, windows smashed, and law enforcement officers attacked.

These are unacceptable scenes that no one can even think of minimising or justifying, which is why today the Council of Ministers approved a decree with new measures to prevent and combat this violence,” she said.

A new crime of violent participation in a protest was created by the decree, meaning that if you join a demonstration of more than five people in which stones, firecrackers, sticks or other implements are used to endanger the safety of others, you will face up to five years in prison and a fine of up to 20,000 euros ($22.5k). If a participant wears a mask or other face covering, injures others, or causes destruction, the penalties will increase.

Meloni said the decree also includes a vandals-pay clause, which she said will follow the “simple principle” of “whoever breaks the law pays, and if the person breaking the law is a minor, their parents pay.”

“How does it work? If the damage is to public property—a bus shelter, a traffic light, a van—the prefect sends the owner a payment order. If the damage is to a private individual—a shop window, a store, a car—the owner goes to the judge and obtains an immediately enforceable injunction,” she explained.

Speaking from the Palazzo Chigi, Justice Minister Carlo Nordio added that “to stem this phenomenon that has affected our cities in recent days,” the decree allows for the justice system to presume that minors over the age of 14 have the “capacity to understand and decide” whether or not to engage in public violence and rioting.

Nordio added that the decree will also create a new crime of using a computer or other electronic device to promote the formation of a violent demonstration, with a penalty of between four and 12 years in prison.

In addition to changing the law, the government approved deploying 500 soldiers to Milan to help local police prevent further rioting.

It came after two days of mayhem in the northern Italian city over the weekend, which saw 200 police officers injured during fights with so-called cost-of-living protesters. Over 270 people were detained during the demonstrations, including 220 minors, many of whom hail from migrant communities.

Separately, on Tuesday, 11 minors were placed under house arrest for alleged involvement in the riots and looting and destruction.

The changes to the criminal code were hailed by Deputy Prime Minister and leader of the populist League (Lega) party, Matteo Salvini, who said: “He who errs pays. Because he who smashes a shop window or assaults a sales clerk is not a revolutionary: HE’S A FUCKING IDIOT.”

Salvini said that his party will push for legislation to further strengthen the state, including by allowing the government to strip citizenship or residence permits from migrants who commit crimes and to bar minors from receiving citizenship in Italy if they deal drugs, loot, or vandalise.

Hind Rajab Foundation files US complaint against Israeli officer over Gaza girl's death

a Belgium-based pro-Paleostinian organization that pursues legal action against IDF soldiers and Israeli officials abroad, called on the US Justice Department on Monday to arrest an Israeli citizen identified by the initials S.G., whom it claims is currently in the United States, over his alleged involvement in the death of five-year-old Paleostinian girl Hind Rajab in Gazoo

The organization, which seeks to prosecute IDF soldiers and senior Israeli officials when they travel abroad, has identified S.G. as a "potentially responsible party" in the girl's killing. The foundation is named after Rajab.

Tlaib, 50, is the eldest of 14 children born to Paleostinian immigrant parents. Her mother is from Beit Ur al-Fauqa, near Ramallah, while her father is from the Beit Hanina neighborhood of east Jerusalem.

Tlaib called on the US Justice Department to investigate and arrest "the Israeli soldier who is currently in the United States."

"The commander of the Israeli military unit likely responsible for killing 5-year-old Hind Rajab is currently in the United States," Tlaib wrote in an X/Twitter post. "As a party to the Genocide Convention and the Geneva Conventions, the US government is obligated to arrest and investigate him for these war crimes and acts of genocide. I stand with the Hind Rajab Foundation in calling on the Justice Department to comply with the law and take action."

TLAIB FACES CRITICISM FROM FELLOW DEMOCRATS OVER ANTI-ISRAEL STATEMENTS
Tlaib has previously faced sharp criticism from the White House and members of her own party over her statements against Israel.

Three years ago, the House of Representatives approved a formal resolution censuring her, partly over a video she published that included the slogan "From the river to the sea," which many Jews regard as a call for Israel's elimination.

Tlaib rejected accusations of antisemitism at the time, arguing that the slogan expressed an "aspiration for freedom, human rights
...which are often intentionally defined so widely as to be meaningless...
, and peaceful coexistence."

FOUNDATION ALLEGES ISRAELI OFFICER COMMANDED TANK UNIT NEAR RAJAB'S VEHICLE
The Brussels-based foundation claims that S.G. served in the IDF as a company commander in the 52nd Armored Battalion of the 401st Brigade.

At the center of its complaint is the death of Hind Rajab in early 2024, alongside members of her family and two Paleostinian Red Islamic Thingy paramedics who attempted to rescue her.

According to the organization, the 52nd Battalion was the only armored unit operating in the area, and S.G.'s company was positioned several hundred meters from the family's vehicle.

The foundation claims forensic analyses, geolocated photographs, and material S.G. published on social media indicate he issued the order to open fire.

The organization further accuses the unit under his command of unlawful killings, torture, the illegal transfer of populations, and the destruction of civilian property and infrastructure without military justification.

The complaint refers, among other incidents, to operations at the Shifa compound, the headquarters of the United Nations
...an organization originally established to war on dictatorships which was promptly infiltrated by dictatorships and is now held in thrall to dictatorships...
Relief and Works Agency for Paleostine Refugees (UNRWA), the Zeitoun neighborhood, and the Rafah crossing.

According to the foundation, S.G.'s public statements support its demand for an investigation.

The foundation has not indicated that the US Justice Department has responded to the complaint.

Balochistan says Rs14bn spent to counter terrorism
[Dawn]
  • Insists 18 laws enacted, 17 institutions set up under security plans

  • Officials claim 60,000 operations conducted, 1,100 Lions of Islam killed

The Balochistan government has passed 18 laws, established 17 institutions and departments and spent more than Rs14 billion on counterterrorism measures under the National Action Plan, Counterterrorism Policy and Provincial Action Plan, senior provincial officials said on Tuesday.

They also claimed that more than 60,000 counterterrorism operations had been conducted across Balochistan up to October, killing over 1,000 terrorists.

The Counter-Terrorism Department alone had killed 250 terrorists and arrested another 250 suspects. They said 101 police personnel and around 200 members of other law enforcement agencies had lost their lives, while 551 civilians had been killed in terrorist violence.

The figures were revealed during a joint press conference held by Provincial Home Minister Ziaullah Langove along with Chief Minister’s Adviser on Media and Political Affairs Shahid Rind and Additional Chief Secretary Home Hamza Shafqaat.

They said measures had also been taken to secure the Quetta-Rakhni, Quetta-Karachi and Quetta-Taftan highways and expressed confidence that the security situation would improve over the next three to four months.

Mr Shafqaat said the provincial government had taken a series of measures over the past two years to implement the National Action Plan, Counter Terrorism Policy and Provincial Action Plan.

Veteran UNRWA teacher exposes alleged Hamas radicalization, hatred of Jews in Gaza schools
[Jpost] A UNRWA teacher of 15 years alleged that Gaza schools taught hatred of Jews and glorified Hamas. After speaking out, she was threatened: “If you don't stop arguing, we will cut out your tongue.”

A Paleostinian teacher who worked for the United Nations
...the Oyster Bay money pit...
Relief and Works Agency for Paleostine Refugees (UNRWA) for 15 years alleged that staff at the agency's schools in the Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with a rusty iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
Strip encouraged students to hate Jews and glorified Hamas
..a regional Iranian catspaw,...
's violent mostly peaceful struggle against Israel, according to an exclusive interview published by the New York Post on Monday.

The 40-year-old teacher said that after she confronted a colleague over material being taught to female students, a senior school official threatened to cut out her tongue.

"She told me, 'We will make you wish you were dead, and if you don't stop arguing, we will cut out your tongue,'" the teacher recounted through an interpreter.

According to the teacher, the threat was made when the bigwig confronted her while holding a pair of scissors, several days after a heated argument between her and another teacher.

The geography teacher said she had begun working for UNRWA because she believed a school operating under UN auspices could protect children from Hamas's culture of violence. However,
denial ain't just a river in Egypt...
she said the reality she encountered was entirely different.

"I was shocked to discover that the reality was very far from what I had imagined," she said.

UNRWA TEACHER DETAILS ALLEGED ANTI-JEWISH INDOCTRINATION
In one incident, she claimed to have heard a sixth-grade history teacher blame Jews for Paleostinian suffering and explain to students that Hamas had been established to correct historical injustices.

In another incident, she said, a teacher encouraged young female students to continue Hamas's struggle against Jews and later boasted to colleagues about the views she was instilling in her students.

"I was deeply shocked by the ideas they were passing on to these children," she said.

The teacher claimed that her confrontation with the colleague led to threats against her and ultimately caused her to stop voicing her objections.

She said she was afraid to approach the school administration because she did not know which officials had connections to Hamas. She also feared her family members could be harmed.

According to her account, the incidents occurred at a UNRWA school in Gaza City that has since closed because of the war and been converted into a shelter for displaced Paleostinians.

GAZA SCHOOL RADICALIZATION COULD FUEL FUTURE VIOLENCE, TEACHER WARNS
Despite her fears, the teacher has now decided to speak publicly and warn of what she believes is a danger to the next generation of children in Gaza.

She warned that radicalization within the education system could lead to further acts of violence similar to the October 7 attacks.

According to the teacher, the danger has grown because of the war and the suffering experienced by children in the Gaza Strip.

"The danger is more serious than ever now because the children are truly suffering," she said, referring to Israeli strikes.

"As a teacher, it is my duty to present an accurate picture and call on the world to save our children from these ideas," she added.

"My most important message is that we need to pay attention to who is teaching our children."

The New York Post did not publish the teacher's name out of concern for her safety.

Her testimony adds to the ongoing controversy surrounding UNRWA's operations, which have faced accusations of allowing antisemitic content and the glorification of terrorism within its education system.

Criticism intensified following the Hamas massacre on October 7, 2023, in which approximately 1,200 people were murdered in Israel.

UNRWA FACES SCRUTINY OVER EMPLOYEES' ALLEGED ROLE IN OCTOBER 7
A subsequent UN investigation found evidence indicating the possible involvement of nine UNRWA employees in the attack, and the agency announced their dismissal.

According to the New York Post report, a US government report published in January 2026 also identified problems in Paleostinian Authority textbooks used in UNRWA schools, including material inconsistent with UN principles of neutrality and nonviolence.

UNRWA did not respond to the New York Post's request for comment regarding the teacher's testimony.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Iran's Pezeshkian discusses mediation efforts in meeting with Pakistan's army chief
[Jpost] Munir's first meeting on Tuesday was with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, Iran's official Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reported.

Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian discussed mediation efforts and regional developments during a meeting with The Mighty Pak Army chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir, in Tehran, Iran's Nournews reported on Tuesday.

Pakistain is a key mediator between the US and Iran. Its earlier mediation efforts with both sides led to an interim peace agreement signed in June. But the Islamabad Memorandum quickly faltered, amid new fighting between Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
and the US weeks after.

Munir also met Iranian parliament speaker Mohammed Bagher Ghalibaf. The Iranian official said Washington can't earn Tehran's trust until it meets the seven conditions Iran set last month to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, according to an Iranian readout of the meeting.

In addition, Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Secretary Mohsen Rezaei told Munir at the meeting that all Iranian enriched nuclear materials will remain in the country, according to Iran's semi-official Tasnim News Agency.

Rezaei further told Munir that Tehran will not negotiate until its conditions are met.

IRAN DEMANDS END TO US BLOCKADE, SANCTIONS, HOSTILITIES
Iran's conditions include, among other demands, the lifting of the US blockade on its ports, ‌the lifting of US sanctions on its oil exports, as well as ending hostilities on all regional fronts.

Munir's first meeting on Tuesday was with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, Iran's official Islamic Theocratic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reported.
Pakistan has a complicated relationship with Iran. Iran’s southeastern Balochistan region has experienced an insurgency; this matches with Pakistan’s Balochistan region, bordering Iran, which has also seen an insurgency. As such, the two share interests in that region. They may also share interests in Afghanistan and Central Asia.

Munir’s visit follows the arrival of Russia’s foreign minister in Tehran on Monday. It appears that, currently, Iran is hosting several important meetings with international dignitaries.

Pakistan and Iran have apparently downplayed the chance that the Pakistan visit could lead to a deal with the US. They also appear to have downplayed the possibility of Pakistan delivering a threat from the US.
