[Regnum] In recent years, bear tracks have increasingly been found near populated areas in the Moscow region. This may be due to an increase in the animal population in neighboring regions, the Moscow Region Ministry of Ecology and Nature Management reported on October 18.
"In recent years, cases of bear activity being detected near populated areas in the Moscow region have become more frequent," the agency's press service told RIA Novosti.
The agency added that this may be due to the growing bear population in regions neighboring the Moscow region. In the Tver region, the species' population increased from 3,000 in 2013 to approximately 5,000 in 2025; in the Smolensk region, from 500 to 2,380; and in the Yaroslavl region, from 650 to 1,300.
In August, rescuer and coordinator of the LizaAlert search and rescue team, Oleg Leonov, in an interview with the Regnum news agency, advised raising your hands when encountering a bear, since a person with their hands raised is much taller, and the animal always takes into account the size of the person standing in front of it.
Recently, in several Russian regions, there has been an increase in the number of bears entering public spaces and attacking people and pets. On October 14, for example, a bear attacked a cow in a pasture near a highway in Khakassia. The cow tried to escape. The driver honked the horn, but the bear did not retreat.

[Korrespondent] 21.24 Volodymyr Zelensky will take part in the presidential elections in Ukraine, as soon as the smell is in the minds of the military camp.
The NBC News journalist clucked at her decision, as if the new presidential elections were held amid a war with Russia. Behind Zelensky’s words, he will definitely take part in them, but he will remain responsible for the share of the region as long as Russian aggression lingers.
“If there will be a war at the hour of war, it is clear that this is my responsibility. Because I am obliged to protect my country from the very beginning until the end of this war,” the president said.
20.15 In the Rivne region, as a result of the Russian attack, the industrial enterprise became aware of the fact that, through damage, it was difficult to force the work to take place. There are no injuries due to the Russian attack. The situation is under control.
19.30 Finance Minister Scott Bessent respects the “very hopeless” statements of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky regarding the US connection between Starlink and Starshield robots.
The journalist told Bessent that Zelensky had spoken with her, saying that the US government had given a signal to separate Starlink and Starshield, and she asked to comment on the fact that American President Donald Trump was confirming the turnaround.
“President Trump and Secretary of State Rubio have categorically stated that no one in the Trump administration has been harmed by anyone. And I respect the extreme uncertainty of President Zelensky’s side for such accusations,” Vidpoviv US Secretary of the Treasury.
At the nutritional clarification, why the work limit was reduced, Bessent said that he “knows nothing about it.”
“You see, I say again, I don’t know anything about this. We agreed very clearly. And, you know, President Zelensky will be even more careful with such statements, which are not consistent with efficiency," the head of the US Treasury added.
11/19 Ukrainian troops have gained more territory since the beginning of autumn, and the Russian occupiers managed to take over this period. President Volodymyr Zelensky stated this and gave evidence to the head commander of the ZSU, Mykhailo Drapaty.
“The trend of this fate continues: our warriors have conquered more territory since the beginning of autumn, but the Russians managed to want to do so. That’s what happened in other parts of the fate,” the head of state told the evening beastly.
In his words, the Ukrainian military is fighting off Russian assaults and defeating enemy groups that are trying to penetrate the positions of the Defense Forces in the Dobropil area. Also, Ukrainian teams are gaining positions in other directions of Donetsk, Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhya regions.
The President noted the results of the operation of the Airborne Assault Forces and the Third Army Corps within the active defense.
“Dobropillya, Kostyantynivka, Oleksiyevo-Druzhkivka, Orikhiv, Novopavlivka, Novoandriivka and Velikomykhailivka - all under the control of Ukraine. And the areas near Kramatorsk are being protected,” Zelensky said.
The President also stated that the Ukrainian military will defeat Russian forces 20 km from Zaporizhzhya, which was the result of the Russian ruler’s statement about five kilometers.
“The front is ours. I commend this to every warrior, to our every bastard, as I will finish the legacy,” Zelensky said.
18.30 President Volodymyr Zelensky met with representatives of US President Donald Trump, Steve Vitkoff and Jared Kushner, and discussed the results of the Ukrainian and American teams in Florida and further developments in diplomacy.
“In fact, our teams are at peace with communication. We are also preparing for the upcoming deadlines in diplomacy,” the president said.
In addition, Ukraine continues to inform American partners about Russian attacks and needs in anti-aircraft defense. “There’s a lot to be learned here based on America’s position itself,” the president said.
Zelensky said that Ukraine is ready for constructive intervention in order to achieve a real result and supports the strong position of the United States, which is acceptable to the neighboring world.
“Peace will come only through force and cooperation that will be based on trust,” the president said.
18.00 Europe must put up real barriers to entry of Russians into the sovereign territory, to help stop the war against Ukraine, as well as to protect the safety of its citizens. The head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Health Andriy Sibiga stated this.
“To seize Europe, close the European cordons for Russians already immediately. Russian combatants and members of their families are not guilty of their right to enter the EU. We need to implement real defenses as soon as possible “Come on,” the minister said.
The head of the Ministry of Health expressed respect for those who are already doing similar things on the national level, but also in Estonia. In my words, the stench is real.
“The Russian man who is involved in the war against Ukraine knows that by signing a contract with the Zagarbnytsky army, he will now be able to defend the entry to Europe and decide the world. The citizens of Russia need to limit their travel requirements to all European countries as much as possible,” said Sibiga.
In his words, we are talking about the national security of every European state.
17.49 President Volodymyr Zelensky suspects that US leader Donald Trump will change his decision to the Russian ruler Volodymyr Putin.
“Of course, we trust America. We trust bipartisan support, and we trust the President of the United States... And I am confident that we will change our decisions, the fragments, in my opinion, are all for mercy; the stink will not help us or the United States,” Zelensky said, responding to questions about trust in Trump.
According to the president’s words, Kiev, from the beginning of Trump’s presidential term, has seen changes in his position before Putin. “For us it’s not important, it’s not principled,” Zelensky said loudly.
The President stated that if the United States officially stands on the side of Russia, Ukraine cannot stand.

“Ukraine will not be able to achieve victory over Russia against the backdrop of a complete military defeat of the enemy,” he said.
The success of Ukraine can only be assessed through military results, respect the minister. In my opinion, there was a significant victory in the introduction of Russian attacks and the restoration of freedom in the region.
“For Ukraine, victory means that Russia will go, start dropping bombs, and Ukraine will again become a free country - it will live in the future,” explained Crosetto.

[Regnum] The Ukrainian conflict must be resolved through negotiations, and Kyiv regime leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy is mistaken in presenting a Ukrainian victory as a condition for ending the conflict. US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent stated thisin an interview with NBC News on October 18.
As the minister pointed out, US President Donald Trump has made it clear that he wants to end the conflict in Ukraine, and this must be done through diplomatic means.
"Zelenskyy presented a false dilemma this morning, [declaring] that Ukraine must win. The conflict must end. And this will be achieved through a negotiated settlement," Bessent emphasized.
He added that the US President is working on this issue every day.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that Zelenskyy does not even want to move forward with agreements with Russia, as they would mean the end of his regime and himself.
Russian President Vladimir Putin previously stated that, in order to begin negotiations on a peaceful settlement of the conflict, Ukraine must withdraw its troops from the regions that returned to Russia in 2022 and fulfill a number of other conditions. The head of state emphasized the need to address the root causes of the conflict and ensure long-term peace. The president noted that Russia will liberate its historical territories by military or other means.

The United States is now siding with a bloody aggressor who invaded Ukraine, aided by North Korean troops and weapons from Iran (a country the U.S. is in war with, and Iran is helped by Russia in this war).
It sounds like a particularily absurd episode of "Sliders", but here we are.
Russia has made it very clear what it wants to do with Ukraine. There is no "deal" to be made that doesn't lead to the destruction of Ukraine, with most Ukrainians fleeing the country and being replaced by Russians.
If you support this I have no more to say.

being replaced by Russians.
I understand the theory, European Conservative, but where will Russia find the excess population with which to replace anybody? Vast swathes of their own country have become empty because the population had been aging and shrinking for decades — in the southeast Chinese settlers have been quietly moving into empty villages for nearly as long, but China has population shrinkage problems of its own.
Separately, not rhetoric but a real question: we’ve been reading about War Deptartment inventory replacement problems such that there are concerns about supplying the next round against Iran. Under the circumstances, can we honestly commit to resupply Ukraine’s needs for their war as well, or is it fairer to push them to face the reality that for the next while they’re going to have to rely on whatever Europe and England can come up with?

#2 The United States is now siding with a bloody aggressor who invaded Ukraine
That is one way of looking at it. Another is that the EU/NATO actively worked to push Russia into a "Do we fight them now or fight them later?" choice.
Preposterous? Remember that interview Merkel gave where she stated that there was no intention of complying with the Minsk agreements and that the only purpose was to gain time to build up Ukraine. In that light, the current stated strategy of trying to force the Russians to negotiate via strategic bombing is unlikely to work.
Russia has made it very clear what it wants to do with Ukraine.
Indeed they have. End of the civil war in the Donbass, reconnection of Crimea, a de-militarized Ukraine. All things that could have been negotiated before the festivities jumped off. The Rus have explicitly stated they have no interest or intention of taking Ukraine. Given the lack of trust fallout from the Minsk agreements, a neutral buffer zone is no longer a consideration, so the Russians will want some sort of defendable border, like the Dniepr river.
tl;dr: From this side of the Atlantic, it appears the EU/NATO provoked a war to damage a traditional enemy using Ukraine as the tool.
Prediction: the war will end when the Euros get tired of poking the bear or the Russians control eastern Ukraine along the Dniepr.
