AJK cop shot dead as protests against inflation turn violent
2024-05-12
[GEO.TV] A cop was rubbed out after festivities between the police and Awami Action Committee (AAC) protesters as the demonstrations against high electricity bills and taxes entered second day in Mirpur, Azad Jammu and Kashmir
...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there....
(AJK) on Saturday.

Markets, trade centres, offices and schools and restaurants remained closed across the AJK due to the AAC’s call for a shutter down and wheel-jam strike across the state to protest the electricity price hike and taxes.

Heavy police force was deputed on all the ways leading to Madina Market, where the AAC had organised a reception for the long march participants.

The routes leading to Muzaffarabad were blocked with barricades at Shahrah-e-Srinagar, while heavy police contingents remained present on the thoroughfare.

The day dawned with large number of participants from Bhimbar, Mirpur and Kotli marched towards Muzaffarabad in groups.

COAS says 'any aggression to be responded with full military might'
2024-02-06
[GEO.TV] Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir Monday reiterated that any aggression or violation of the territorial illusory sovereignty of Pakistain will be responded to with full national resolve and military might.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the army chief made the remarks while addressing the troops deployed on the front lines along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Sarian Sector on Monday.

The trip comes on February 5, the day when Pakistain marks Kashmir
...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. Solidarity Day, to express wholehearted support for the struggle of Kashmiri brothers and sisters in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

"Pakistain Army is well versed with the full threat spectrum and is perpetually ready to respond effectively," the army chief said.

The COAS also mentioned the Indian state-sponsored terrorism in Pakistain which now extended to the heinous targeting of individual Pak citizens on our soil.

Such callous disregard for international law and norms of the international system was becoming a routine occurrence and India was now being called out openly by many countries in the world, exposing her sham credentials, Gen Munir added.

The COAS also appreciated the operational readiness, high morale, and effective response of the troops to Indian ceasefire violations.

"Pakistain would continue to expose all such attempts and ensure the security of its citizens," said ISPR.

Earlier today, caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwarul Haq, and the army chief visited Muzaffarabad.

Upon arrival at the Jammu and Kashmir Monument Muzaffarabad, the premiers and the army chief laid a floral wreath at the Martyrs' Monument and paid rich tribute to the supreme sacrifices of Shuhada, said ISPR.

Meet the Harvard Students Supporting Hamas' Invasion of Israel
2023-10-11
[TOWNHALL] In the wake of Hamas’ brutal surprise attack against Israel, 34 Harvard student organizations recently signed a joint statement blaming Israel for the attack and expressing support for Palestine.

“We, the undersigned student organizations, hold the Israeli regime entirely responsible for all unfolding violence,” the letter read.

“The apartheid regime is the only one to blame. Israeli violence has structured every aspect of Palestinian existence for 75 years.”

To date, the Hamas invasion has killed over 900 Israeli citizens, and at least 11 American citizens. Reports of Hamas raping Israeli women, and videos of militants holding Israeli children in cages, have flooded social media. In one violent spectacle, Hamas militants paraded the naked, dead body of a German woman through the streets of Gaza in the back of a vehicle.

In some cases, Hamas terrorists even uploaded images or videos of their victims on the victims’ own social media accounts.

Despite such horrific brutality, the Harvard student groups offered Hamas their public support and blamed Israel for the murder and rape of its own citizens.

Townhall has identified the student leaders of several of those groups. Their names are listed below.

LeT commander who had key role in Rajouri attack killed inside PoK mosque
2023-09-11
[MSN - Times of India] In yet another mysterious killing of a terrorist wanted in India for a terror attack, unidentified button men bumped off a high-ranking commander of LeT inside al-Qudus mosque in Pakistain-Occupied Kashmir
...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain.
's (POK) Rawalkot on Friday.

The terrorist, identified as Riyaz Ahmad alias Abu Qasim Kashmiri, was shot from point-blank range during the Friday prayers. He was one of the main conspirators behind the Rajouri terror attack in J&K in January this year. At least seven people had died while a dozen were maimed when snuffies firing indiscriminately at Dhangri village in Rajouri district. They also left behind an improvised bomb (IED) that went off the next morning.

Sources said the role of home-grown Lions of Islam of Pakistain is suspected in the murder, which is the third such killing in four months. All three were confidantes of designated global terrorist Hafiz Saeed
...founder of Lashkar-e-Taiba and its false-mustache offshoot Jamaat-ud-Dawa. The United Nations declared the JuD a terrorist organization in 2008 and Hafiz Saeed a terrorist as its leader. Hafiz, JuD and LeT are wholly-owned subsidiaries of the Pak intel apparatus, so that amounted to squat. He is periodically placed under house arrest so it looks like the govt is doing something. Once the heat is off they let him go....
Lashkar commander Khalid Saifullah was bumped off on August 11 while another LeT commander Salaam Bhuttavi, who was one of the trainers of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, mysteriously suffered a cardiac arrest in a Pakistain jail. Around ten such killings, many of them in Pakistain, have been reported in the last one year.

Friday’s killing has come as a major blow to IS’s Kashmir centric plans as Qasim Kashmiri had established himself as a notorious "launching commander" with a focus on recruitments in Rajouri and Poonch areas in the Valley. Pakistain media outlets termed Abu Qasim’s death as a "assassination of an Islamist Guerrilla fighter". As per the police’s briefing to the local media, Qasim was shot four times by assailants wearing helmets. Qasim originally belonged to the Surankot area of J&K and had exfiltrated across the border in 1999. "He was considered as the brain behind the revival of terrorism in the twin border districts of Poonch and Rajouri," an intelligence official said.

Since the abrogation of Article 370 in J&K in August 2019, the IS has been facing a major challenge in terms of terrorist recruitment. Abu Qasim, however, had kept the launchpads alive and kept getting the local youths on IS’s payroll while brainwashing them about jihad. In the last three years, terror camps were mainly running from 3-4 areas of POK, including Manshera and Muzaffarabad, under the guidance of Qasim and his associates.

Militant behind Quetta Hazara killings arrested near Afghanistan border
2023-09-08
[KhaamaPress] Pak intelligence agents apprehended a turban responsible for orchestrating multiple attacks on Quetta’s Hazara

community. The arrest occurred as he crossed the border near Afghanistan’s Spin Boldak town.

Abdul Bari, the identified turban, was captured en route to Quetta from Spin Boldak, as reported by Pak News International on Wednesday. It was revealed that Bari was unaware that his movements were being monitored, as he intended to visit his family in Mastung.

The captured turban had evaded authorities due to his involvement in the assassinations of Pakistain’s Hazara community in Balochistan
...the Pak province bordering Kandahar and Uruzgun provinces in Afghanistan and Sistan Baluchistan in Iran. Its native Baloch propulation is being displaced by Pashtuns and Punjabis and they aren't happy about it...
province. This included the brutal attack on coal miners in the Mach area of Bolan district, located approximately 50 km from Quetta.

In January 2021, 11 Hazara coal miners were brutally beheaded, their hands bound and blindfolded. This horrific incident prompted the Hazara community to stage protests, urging then-Pak Prime Minister Imran Khan
...aka The Great Khan, who who convinced himself that playing cricket qualified him to lead a nuclear-armed nation with severe personality disorders...
to ensure their safety. Khan eventually visited, and the victims were laid to rest.

They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
—Khorasan Province (ISKP) grabbed credit for the attack in January 2021. This incident followed a year marked by violence against the Hazara community in Quetta, where they have endured "deliberate and systematic murders for the past two decades," as highlighted in a study published in March.

According to Pak media reports, Pakistain’s intelligence agency, the ISI, was responsible for monitoring the activities of Abdul Bari, who had settled in border areas of Afghanistan after 2021. The agency was awaiting his return, as Abdul Bari intended to reunite with his family members in the Muzaffarabad region of Pakistain.

Abdul Bari eventually left the border areas of Afghanistan for Muzaffarabad, Pakistain, where his family resides, and was unaware that his movements were being monitored by Pakistain’s intelligence agency, the ISI.

On returning to Kuwait, he was detained at Spin Boldak, Afghanistan. The exact date of his detention is unclear, but the news became public on Wednesday.

This individual has been involved in at least five brutal attacks targeting Hazaras in Pakistain, either as a perpetrator or the master plan of these attacks. Among these incidents is the murder of 11 miners in 2021 in the Balochistan province of Pakistain, where all the victims were Hazaras. Abdul Bari played a significant role in organizing these five attacks.

Lashkar terrorist was paid Rs 20,000 to deliver arms after infiltrating

[OneIndia] A 19 year old terrorist from Pakistain said that he was paid Rs 20,000 by his handlers too cross over to India. He was told that he had to take arms supplies to Pattan in Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir
...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. He also said that he was promised a second instalment of Rs 30,000 after the arms were delivered. The terrorist Ali Babar Patra had surrendered to the Indian Army during a counter-infiltration operation by the Army in Uri on Monday. He also said that he was trained at a Lashkar-e-Tayiba camp in Muzaffarabad and later infiltrated with a group of six other Lions of Islam on September 18.

An infiltration bid was made by Pak Lions of Islam along the Line of Control in Uri Sector on the intervening night of 18/ 19 September 2021 and the same was eliminated over succeeding nights, the Indian Army said..

Taking advantage of dark night, uneven ground, bad weather and thick undergrowth, Pakistain harboured terrorist group Lashkar-e-Tayiba attempted to infiltrate six Lions of Islam from the general area of Pak post Jabri. During the infiltration attempt, while two Lions of Islam were crossing the LC, own patrolling party established contact with them. Taking advantage of the thick undergrowth, four Lions of Islam ran back towards the POK side of LC while remaining two Lions of Islam managed to enter into own area.

Additional forces were inducted and multiple patrols were launched in the suspected areas and the getaway routes were blocked.

AJK premier urges JKLF protesters to call off march to LoC as 'purpose largely met'
2019-10-09
[DAWN] Azad Jammu and Kashmir
...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain.
(AJK) Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider on Tuesday urged the Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF)-led marchers to call off their march as the purpose of their programme had been "largely met".

The JKLF-led march had come to a halt some eight kilometres before the Line of Control (LoC) in Chakothi sector on Sunday due to the blockade of Muzaffarabad-Srinagar road at the hands of the administration.

Ever since then, the marchers had been staging a sit-in under large tents, erected on the main road before the blockade on Sunday night.

On Monday, JKLF leaders had renewed their appeal to the AJK government to remove the obstacles and allow the marchers to cross the ceasefire line (LoC) or else they would continue their sit-in at this place for "an indefinite period."

As an alternative, the JKLF had demanded of the AJK government to bring any special representative of the UN Secretary General as well as representatives of the P5 members of Security Council to whom they could present their charter of demands.

In his cautious response, Prime Minister Haider said: "Those who have gone there (towards the LoC) are our brothers. They have succeeded in letting the world know what they wanted it to know. I hope they will return after they have shown their resolve and commitment to the whole world."

"Such things (march towards the LoC) would continue to happen repeatedly. Eventually, this ill-omened line has to vanish, either in a peaceful way or otherwise. People should make preparations for it from now on," he said.

"God willing this is bound to happen, sooner or later," he added.

Haider stressed that there should not be any conceptual chaos in the ranks of Kashmiris.

"We all should raise one slogan and make one demand, that is, plebiscite," he said.

Indian fire kills woman in Azad Jammu and Kashmir: police
2019-10-08
[DAWN] A police official said sniper fire by India killed a woman outside her home in Abbaspur in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
"Woman" as in "armed militant in a Charbroiler cover burqa"?
Police official Zulqarnain Chaudhry said the woman was killed on Sunday and that the fire came from India, across the boundary in the disputed Himalayan region.

The incident took place as US Senators Chris Van Hollen and Maggie Hassan along with their staffers and US Chargé d'Affaires Ambassador Paul Jones were visiting Muzaffarabad to "see the ground situation and gauge public sentiment" following the illegal actions taken by India in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

JKLF asks AJK government to remove hurdles, let marchers cross LoC
2019-10-08
[DAWN] The Jammu Kashmir
...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain.
Liberation Front (JKLF) on Monday asked the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) government to remove the containers at the Muzaffarabad-Srinagar Highway which had obstructed the movement of their march towards the Line of Control (LoC) since Sunday, warning that the marchers would otherwise continue to stage a sit-in before the hurdles for "an indefinite period".

"The AJK government should remove the hurdles and allow the marchers to cross the ceasefire line (LoC) or else the sit-in will continue at this place for an indefinite period," said Mohammad Rafiq Dar, central spokesperson for JKLF, at a presser in Jiskool, located 8 kilometres before the LoC, where the administration had placed containers, barbed wires, electricity poles and mounds of earth to block the march.

"Otherwise, the government should bring here any special representative of the United Nations
...the Oyster Bay money pit...
Secretary General as well as representatives of the five permanent UN Security Council members so that we are able to give them our charter of demands," added Dar, who was flanked by JKLF’s ailing acting chairman Abdul Hameed Butt and other leaders.
"And a pony. We want a pony, too!"
"How can we lead a normal life here when our brothers and sisters across the ceasefire line are going through nightmarish conditions at the hands of the Indian army," he questioned.

The JKLF front man said the best option in the prevailing situation was the deployment of UN peacekeeping forces in Jammu and Kashmir until a plebiscite was held to ascertain the opinion of Kashmiris about their future.

He said other demands would be shared soon in the shape of a memorandum.

The JKLF led marchers had reached Jiskool on Sunday afternoon to be greeted by the road blockades. While a majority of them returned to Chinari and other rear areas to spend the night, the leaders and many others took shelter under a big canopy that was erected on the main road late at night.

Multan police apprehend social media star Qandeel's absconding brother with help from Interpol
2019-10-06
[DAWN] Multan
...Home of the Multan Sultans...
police on Saturday apprehended Mohammad Arif, an absconding brother of slain social media celebrity Qandeel Baloch, with the help of Interpol, police officials said.

SHO Mahar Bashir Hiraj told DawnNewsTV that Arif has been handed over to Muzaffarabad cop shoppe in Multan.

Arif had been declared an absconder in the murder case of Baloch, who had been strangled to death on July 15, 2016.

A day after the murder, another brother of Baloch, Mohammad Waseem, had admitted before the police that he had killed Qandeel because she "brought dishonour to the Baloch name" with her risque videos and statements posted on social media.

He had also said that his sister had a "bad character" being a social media model and that he had "no guilt over killing her".

Furthermore, Waseem had told the court his brother Mohammad Arif, who was in Soddy Arabia
...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face...
at the time, had asked him to kill Qandeel as he (Arif) felt ashamed due to her conduct. Arif had directed Waseem to flee to Saudi Arabia after killing Baloch.

A trial court, on September 27, had sentenced Waseem to life in prison, but acquitted five others, including a third brother, Aslam Shaheen, named in the case lodged by Baloch's parents.

Waseem will serve out his sentence in Multan's Central Jail. Arif has yet to be charged by a court for his alleged involvement in the case.

Imran Khan doesn’t rule out potential Pakistan-India war going nuclear
2019-09-16
[ALMASDARNEWS] Pak Prime Minister Imran Khan
...aka The Great Khan, who ain't the brightest knife in the national drawer...
has warned of "consequences" if his nuclear-armed country were to end up losing a conventional war to its similarly nuclear-armed neighbour India.

Pakistain’s prime minister discussed his government’s foreign and domestic policies in an interview with Al Jazeera on 14 September.

When asked if Pakistain would hit India with nuclear weapons in case of a large-scale conflict, Khan first ruled out his country initiating the attack.

"Pakistain would never start a war, and I am clear: I am a pacifist. I am anti-war," he said.
They have a rather loose definition of "never starting a war," however.
However,
alcohol has never solved anybody's problems. But then, neither has milk...
Khan added that when two nuclear-armed states "fight a conventional war, there is every possibility that it is going to end up in a nuclear war."

"If say Pakistain, God forbid, we are fighting a conventional war, we are losing, and if a country is stuck between the choice: either you surrender or you fight ’til death for your freedom ‐ I know Paks will fight to death for their freedom," said Pakistain’s PM.

Khan has repeatedly warned in recent weeks that foreign powers, along with the UN, need to intervene in the standoff between India and Pakistain over disputed Kashmir
...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain.
"So that’s why we have approached the United Nations
...boodling on the grand scale...
, we are approaching every international forum, that they must act right now because this is a potential disaster that would go way beyond the Indian subcontinent," said Khan.

Earlier in September, appearing at the International Sikh Convention in the eastern Pak city of Lahore, Khan vowed not to use nuclear weapons first against India.

His spokesperson subsequently insisted the words were "taken out of context," and there is "no change" in Pakistain’s nuclear stance which reportedly does not rule out a first strike against overwhelming conventional force.
