Ingushetia's health minister escaped unhurt after attackers raked his car with gunfire Thursday, officials said.The attack on Magomet Aliskhanov happened around 12 p.m. in the region's largest city, Maikop, and officials were searching for the assailants, said Interior Ministry spokesman Nazir Yevloyev. No one was hurt.
Ingushetia's chief prosecutor blamed the attack on Chechen warlord Shamil Basayev.
