Hell it seems worse now, than it did under General Aidid. Why did the DC swamp send US troops to that $hit hole back in the 1992-93?

I lost 2 good friends in that BS Political Deflection MIC $$$$$ venture back in Oct 1993.

#2 President Bush sent Marines to Somalia to ensure that food aid to a half-million starving Somalis would get to them. When that project was completed, and Bush had lost the Presidetial election, in early 1993 he ordered the Marines home. Just why Clinton thought he could nation-build in Somalia is anyone's guess.
