#1 ...The Apollo 9 crew gets lost in the shuffle - 8's flight around the Moon, 10's magnificent performance proving that it all worked when and where it where it was supposed to, and 11 pulling it off.

But Jim McDivitt and his team proved you could get all the components into the air, make them work, and then finished the mission with a textbook landing. The Right Stuff indeed.
