#7 When Springsteen hit the big time I couldn't figure out what all the fuss was about. I never cared for the music and have never listened to it so I can't boycott it. I like Cheech Marin's song "Born in East L.A." better

#9 Springsteen's music was never very sophisticated. I don't recall any great, soaring guitar solos. I won't go back and listen for it but IIRC it was mostly strumming. Springsteen's singing was always more like shouting and the lyrics were simple. It was always loud and simple...for the simpletons who listened to it. I can't boycott him either because I never bought his crap anyway.
